Nagato can either use Deva/Human/Asura Paths or use them all together to fend off Sasuke while using Preta Path to absorb the arrow.

yes and it is really effective, but the speed of sasuke's arrow coupled with the sheer size of the projectile would make it a really deadly combo. especially when covered in enton

Nagato would easily absorb that.

Nagato absorbed 8tails worth of Bee's v2 chakra in seconds, Unless that sword has bijuu level chakra's, It's getting absorbed quickly and without trouble. Share vision/Able to grow extra limbs/Army of summons/Shinra tensei will easily help him defend against any follow up attack.

Preta creates a barrier. The attack can't get past the barrier so it'd be fully absorbed. Kisame on the other hand is a different story...
