[Discussion] Imagine if DBZ..

I know DBZ got blu-rayed. But imagine if they took it to the next step? Imagine if they got rid of all the annoying filler like bits and cheesy parts. Basically re-animated it giving it cleaner animation and more entertaining episodes. Less charging. Added extra effects to when they're changing into super sayains etc. When the characters are talking the screen doesn't just stay still. All that type of stuff to make it a higher quality anime. The plot would stay the same but they could add in extra bits and details to the fights and show in general to make it more beast.

What would your thoughts be on this? Yay or nay?

EDIT: I know there is DBZ Kai, but I never found that much of an improvement. I meant a whole new reanimating of the show so that the quality is comparable to that of anime's today. Like AOT, SAO and Naruto.

I've watched it guys. That wasn't what I was meaning. I meant completely re-animating the majority of it so its pretty much brand new, not just fixing bits.

I dont see any reason To re-do all the episodes (290+) with better animations, since I don't personally find any errors with original adaption. It would be fun tho, but apparently there's no point in it overall IMO

Yeah its not necessary for them to redo it, but I just think it would be a huge hit if they did. They would make a stack of money if the quality was that of nowday's anime.

That's the problem what if it doesn't sell well? All that money would go to waste and most people wouldn't even bother rewatching it even if it had better animation to it. Something familiar happened to singularity, raven software put huge amounts of efforts into the game, using unreal technology engine, and the game was highly appealing, personally I LOVED IT. But it never sold well despite being so good to the people who actually played it, and the story remains unfinished.

They were good days, but realistically, the quality was average. It'd be good to see DBZ in a good quality so that it could regain its popularity and deserve its title as one of the legendary animes

I love dbz, and it'd be cool to see it in new animations, but in the end lets see what toei animations has to say, Wether they want to produce the new adaption with better quality or not

In my opinion the voices are mostly worse in DBZ Kai, especially Frieza. And this quality is still really average in comparison to new generation animes.
