Hello!
I'm using a Sony Vaio VGN-FS740/W. I installed Windows XP SP3 recently. Ever since I installed it, I can't see the menus properly. For example, Facebook is a completely white page and the links are displayed in text form but they're supposed to be images. It's not that images are not shown at all but images that are links are usually not shown. It's not just on the internet. Every program I load, the appearance isn't right. The menus on the left of Windows Media Player are simple text. Hope I explained the question correctly. Please tell me if I could help you with screenshots.
Thank you.

Before you reinstall your operating system take a look at your video card setting. See if the driver was properly installed. That's a common problem when installing a new operating system on a propietary system like a Sony. If the right driver isn't installed and a generic Microsoft driver shows up, find the right driver for your particalar system on sony's website.
If you do have the correct driver installed, look at your video settings (Settings-Control Panel-Display). Make sure it's set high enough. Hope that helps you.
