It wasn't that long ago when Neji had taken a short vacation to the land of fire with a few other ninja from Kirigakure. It was quite enjoyable for them; nice hot springs, a decent hotel, and exquisite restaurants to dine at. A couple of days in, Neji had decided to take a stroll out and had told his friends he'll be back in a little while. As the Kiri ninja was walking around and about for 20 or so minutes, he soon ended up in the middle of a fairly big grassy field. Neji briefly looks around and suddenly finds himself enjoying the most magnificent view of the vast landscape before him, along with the brisk, but cold Autumn weather. Momentarily while Neji is gazing at the grasslands, he looks over to his right and couldn't help but notice a tall man donning a Konohagakure headband watching him in the far distance [mid range]. -Ah, a Konoha nin; Not so surprised seeing one out here.- As he is thinking this, Neji closes his eyes to focus. Immediately, he begins channeling a mass amount of his chakra into both of his eyes while weaving the one necessary hand seal [Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up], manipulating the chakra within the swift movement. After a moment passes afterwards, Neji can feel his veins bulging from his temples, activating his Byakugan. When doing so, he turns his full body to the man and speaks in a calm, but loud voice. "Oi, can I help you?"

One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, Hyuga ninjas have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. The user can not only see chakra and the chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu. Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if he's a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot, slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards but enables the user to actually even see his own chakra circulatory system and chakra flow, which explains why all Hyuugas are so adept and masterfull of precise chakra control. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike, as well as chakra. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away. Some Hyugas have shown a great awareness regarding agressiveness as well as killing intent, detecting such intentions and emotions from others with more ease than most.
Note: Activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil

Ragna was goofing off as usual he had a mission to accomplish but he had since forgotten. He was eating at a resteraunt when the head chef kicked him out due to the non smoking rules. "I cant help it. I’m a smoke user for crying out loud.” So naturally he walked outside and continued to walk until he was at a peaceful grassy field.

“Finally I’m free”

Ragna lit a cigar and started making figures with the smoke when suddenly he felt joy, happiness, and…..GOOD SPIRITS???????? All of these things disgusted Ragna as everything pretty much annoyed him. He turned around to see a ninja….with the Kiri band of his hometown….ENJOYING LIFE???????? Oh no this wont due. If Ragna’s life was somewhat miserable then his life should be to. That’s when he realized he hadn’t started his mission. He took a look at the note and picture of the ninja and it matched up.

“Well, well its my lucky-“

Ragna was quickly interrupted by the kiri nin asking his whereabouts. This was embarrassing…and awkward. The kiri nin had veins bulging around his pure white eyes.

“Ugh…its one of those Hyuga douchebags…I hate fighting those guys.”

This would be a tough battle as smoke ninjutsu usually requires deception and sneak attacks but this time it would be ineffective so he would have to rely on his other skills.

“Well Hyuga Doucheman I’m here to smoke but I’ll settle for killing you…NOW stop having a good time!!!!!”

Ragna blew out a puff of smoke then threw two kunai at Neji. He then threw a smoke bomb to his side so he could still see and create a smoke clone out of it. He then followed this up by creating an earthen clone beside him as well.

Neji didn't take to kindly to the stranger's response. "Hyuga Doucheman? How childish of you." As he is finished speaking, the Kiri immediately sees his opponent take out and hurl a couple of kunai towards him. In quick decisiveness, Neji pulls out a two of his shuriken and throws them at the incoming projectiles which stops them. While he throwing the shuriken, he easily noticed the man create 2 clones, and one of them seeming being made out of the smoke he just created. "Sorry, but you're gonna have to do better than that, boy."

Ragna blew out a puff of smoke as he pointed to his head and smiled. "It’s all in the plan my man….all in the plan. By the way what is your real name douchy. I’d hate to keep calling you douchy or any forme of a douche. My name is Ragna yay me." Ragna said all this with a sarcastic monotone expression. After this was said The earthen clone went underground and the smoke clone charged wildly straight at Neji in order to distract him. At this pace he would merely run right into Neji and knock him off balance. Ragna in the meantime with his arms folded with a calm lookused his earth chakra to cause a stone spike to jet out of the ground and impale Neji.

“What you say you name was again????”

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

"Hmph; Well Ranga, it's best if you don't know." As soon as the two clones had been created, Neji sees one of them charging towards him recklessly, while also using his Byakugan to see the other one travel underground via doton jutsu. Also, in addition to the two clones, he sees a fairly big gathering of chakra in the ground that is heading right under him, and he automatically suspects it to be another earth technique. Planning his next course of action, Neji purposely waits for the clone charging at him to get near enough. When this happens, he leaps up a few feet and places his hands on "Ranga's" shoulders and lifts his legs up [which make it look like he's doing a handstand on the clone's shoulders] and holds him in place. By the time this happens, the earth spikes would protrude from the ground and impale the smoke clone which creates a large smoke screen.

As the doton would hit the clone, Neji uses his forearms to spring himself 4 more feet into the air. In the air, he begins to gather his chakra once more. He then begins to mold it to water chakra while weaving the hand signs [Ram → Tiger]. Immediately after, he then spews the water from his mouth in the form of a sticky, clear liquid onto the ground, causing the entire section he soaked in the syrup & manages to trap Ranga via feet. While Neji falls back to the ground, he then begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra inside of his stomach, and uses nature manipulation to create very intense katon. When Neji is finished building up his fire chakra, he finally forces it up though his throat and out the mouth and releases a volley of six fireballs that rain down on the trapped Konoha Nin. "Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai!"

Ragna said as he saw his opportunity com in fruition. As soon as the doton would impale the smoke clone it would separate into four separate smoke clones that would surround Neji as he would mold for his next attack and try to attack Ragna with the starch field one of the four smoke clones (they can use all rank smoke attacks by the way) forms a dragon that has the ability to suffocate Neji. Although it does not completely constrict Neji as Smoke is very intagable but it even a little restriction or force plus the suffocation would slow Neji’s movements down and moreover make him offbalanced in the air. If he decided to attack with his C rank the Earth clone would intercept the C rank suiton while Ragna simutaneosuly performed a handseal and channeled his chakra into the ground creating a large swamp to snare and trap all in the area as Neji choked and struggled to deal with the smoke dragon.

“I’m the future smoke sage of konoha…you should take me more seriously…..ACHOOOOOOO!!! Dang I almost was cool. I must be allergic to the grass.”

The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

As Neji would spring himself upward with his forearms, he notices that when the smoke clone had gotten impaled by Ranga's earth spikes, they had divided up into a lot more clones. -What a pain.- While he was still articulating his thoughts, he sees that the smoke clones have started to merge into each other and create a dragon-like thing. In quick decisiveness, Neji begins to gather and mold his futon chakra inside of his lungs. He then takes a deep breath, and quickly exhales a large, spherical blast of wind that blows away the dragon once and for all. "Sage of Smoke you say? You're gonna have to show me a lot more than that if you're truly worth the title."

As Neji is falling back to the ground, he realizes that his opponent had created a large mud swamp right below him. With serious precaution, Neji starts gathering a small amount of his wind chakra. After doing so, he exhales a long stream of wind that propels Neji right towards Ranga and manages to position himself about 5 feet behind him [and 6 feet above him]. When Neji gets to this point, he quickly reaches into his pouch and throws down a flash bomb that temporarily blinds Ranga [impossible to blind Neji due to Byakugan ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)] for about 7-8 seconds. However this is just enough time for Neji. As he lands back to the ground, he is about 1-2 meters away, which is good enough for short range. As Neji whispers very silently, "I'm afraid this is the end for you. You're in range, and you cannot escape my Eight Trigrams," he positions himself into the normal 64 hakke stance. In that same moment, he twists his upper body clockwise which increases the technique's range. He then gathers a massive amount of chakra and molds them into his index & middle fingers. In a single second, he rushes towards his opponent, a preforms a spin before hitting the Konoha nin in her lower torso with the first two strikes. He then focuses the next 20 blows on his target's left and right shoulder. Afterwards, he aims for his right and left arms for the next 60 strikes. Then, Neji deals 44 hits on his left & right arms. For the next 236 hakke, he deals blows to him aiming at both the upper body & lower body. For the 361st strike, he gathers a mass amount of chakra into his right palm. "Eight Trigrams..." With all his strength, Neji delivers the final blow to his tenketsu in the stomach, making Ranga repelling back ten feet & seals all of her chakra for two turns. "...Three Hundred Sixty One Palms!"

(My bad maybe I didn’t explain it well. The smoke dragon stems from the wrist so it would be created from of one of the smoke clones wrist as they perform the jutsu and not become it. The clones turn into the jutsu. Its no biggy though I’ll reply as if your wind destroyed them all anyway so its all good. Just wanted to clear that up but you did give me some good thoughts on some CJ’s ideas lol.)

“Yes I’m the smoke sage but I’m also one of the smartest ninja’s you’ll ever meet.”

It was indeed difficult battling a Byakugan user of all people with smoke tactics. Ragna thought he would have been alright if it was at least a uchiha.
As soon as Neji blew toward him Ragna knew he was vunerable to the next attack as he was airborne. So he slammed his hand on the ground and before neji could come in range to Ragna he was intercepted/lifted by a large section of rock rising out of the ground. Making sure he is out of the way for his next attack Ragna quickly made the Snake handseal and concentrated on the area Above Yanks. Suddenly a giant Lid of Earth appeared above him and crashed down on Neji flattening him. Ragna stared intensly to see if there was any signs of life. Just to be prepared he threw down another smoke bomb a little ways ahead of him but also to the side so he could view the situation and made another smoke clone.

Neji was pretty skilled to have avoided the swamp and stop his clones. Ragna actually smiled. It was nice to have someone interesting to fight. Since he did not continue with his earlier Suiton attack the Earthen clone remained underground.

When Neji propelled himself in the air, his Byakugan had detected a mass amount of chakra into the earth and noticed that it started to rise into the air. In quick reaction, he concentrates & lets a lot of his chakra to leak out of the tenketsus in both of his hands and then up to his elbow. He hen uses shape manipulation to create two lion heads in each hand. Immediately, he pushes his right hand forward and lands a powerful punch towards the lifted earth and manages to take off a big chunk off of it [this slows down his momentum though]. When Neji lands the punch, he maneuvers his body so that he is doing a handstand with his right arm and flips back into a right side up stance; and when he looks up, he sees a large lid being dropped from above. With little time to do anything else, Neji begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra. After doing so, he uses nature manipulation to vibrate the built up chakra to increase its frequency; molding said chakra into natural lightning. When Neji is finished building up his lightning chakra, he releases it and creates a short burst of raiton which instantly cuts though the earth when it comes in contact with the armor [so in Neji's PoV, there's a big hole in the middle of the lid]. After striking whatever comes into contact, the lighting armor subdues and fades away [Neji is on the border of mid and short range btw]. "I hate to break it to you, but to most people, I'm considered a genius."

While positioned mid range from his opponent, Neji first inhales and then begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra while simultaneously weaving the three necessary hand seals [Rat → Rabbit → Dog] and uses nature manipulation to create futon. When Neji is finished building up his wind chakra, he exhales which releases the wind and uses shape manipulation to create several, small bullets of futon that is sharp enough to pierce through his opponent's flesh and destroys the clone.

Due to the properties of this technique, the expelled blasts are capable of piercing into and potentially through an opponent's flesh when they collide, in a similar manner to how bullets function.

As Neji avoids the Doton Lid Neji begins to hop out of it. Unscathed and with a look of anger.(Are you in the air?) Immediatley Ragna maintains the offensive by channeling his Earth chakra into the ground and without a single handseal he caused many Large Earthen Pillars to erupt in the ranges ahead of him.

“That looks like it might hurt. Not as much as this….”

Ragna wanted to use a smoke jutsu to cover his next attack but those eyes would render it useless. Smoke might not be the best option against a Hyuga. So once the pillars quickly jetted up sending Neji’s battered body with then concentrated a mass amount of lightning chakra into his right hand forming a ball of lightning. He then thrusted it towards Neji’s position and as it hit it expanded into a large explosion of lightning. Ragna blew out another puff of smoke and folded his arm. “This might be getting good after all.”

As Neji hops out of the doton lid, he notices that his opponent had gathered up a lot of his chakra which he sent through the ground and sent towards him; probably a doton jutsu. In an attempt to stop whatever is coming at him, Neji he spreads his arm like a bird & uses his body to create momentum and starts to spin. While doing so, immediately, Neji pushes chakra out of all his 361 tenketsu and then begins to spin faster and faster creating a very big dome-like shield. As the shield is still up, it stops the oncoming attack from below and destroys it. When he stops spinning, he is seen standing in his own, very large crater.

By the time he had gotten rid of the would be doton pillars, he looks over at Ranga who had just hurled a lightning ball towards him. -Nice try.- Momentarily, Neji begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra and uses nature manipulation to create futon. When Neji is finished building up his wind chakra, he channels the wind to his hands and uses shape manipulation to create three balls of futon in which he launches from his hand and towards his opponent [two that overpowers and cancels out the lighting ball and the other one smashes into Ranga and leaves him injured].

Description: This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock. They can be launched in rapid succession.

As the wind balls are traveling, Neji thinks ahead and suspects that his opponent would try to use a fire jutsu to make my wind technique useless. After moving four feet to the left, he immediately begins to channel up enough of the required chakra and concentrated hard to use nature manipulation to change it into water. Neji then took that gathered suiton and sent it to his mouth, where he temporarily, strongly compresses it. Afterwards, he spits out the water as a wave of water and guided it toward his opponent and maybe a fire jutsu that Ranga may use [so if use a fire jutsu, my water will cancel it out and the balls would hit you anyways]. "Suiton: Taihoudan!!"

Ragna sees that his lightning jutsu had been successfully countered and that a water and weakend wind jutsu was heading for him. Ragna merely stood in place as he molded earthen chakra all throughout his skin and stood in the paths of the attacks. Both attacks seemed to do nothing as the earth was strong to water and the wind was already lacking sufficient chakra to be dangerous. The smoke clone made earlier generated a smoke dragon which again around this time and suffocated Neji while Ragna placed his hand on the ground and summoned a gigantic Earthen Golemn large but still capable of moving fast. Ragna sat atop the golemn looking down at the suffocating Neji. (sorry for lack of detail...im still a little busy at the moment)

When Neji had spewed the water technique and the wind ball, he realized that his opponent had coated himself with some type of earth armor. After seeing this, he notices that Ranga created a smoke dragon which he sent towards him and a large earth monster that he sits on top of. As the smoke dragon would come near, Neji begins to gather a lot of his wind chakra. After doing so, he starts to use stores up the gathered wind chakra and stores it in his hands. He then starts to swing both of his arms and creates waves of wind that come out of his hands and slices through the smoke dragon.

After dispelling the dragon, Neji begins to preform the necessary tiger hand seal[since I mastered Katon] and then channel said chakra into his right hand. After doing so, he releases the fire from his hand and uses shape manipulation to create about 8-10 small, but very hot fireballs and launches them at Ranga. However instead of hitting him, Neji guides the fireballs so that he makes Ranga think he had missed but in reality the balls are gathered all around them. Finally, he weaves the final hand seal to direct all the fireballs towards his opponent and they explode on contact & engulf him in flames [pretty hard to dodge without metagamming].

Description: The user first performs a series of three hand seals Dog→Horse→Tiger and then gathers up a lot of fire chakra in their chest. Afterwards, via mouth or hand, they fire off a barrage of several [about 8-10], but small fireballs hot enough to scorch the ground at their opponent. However, instead of hitting them directly [which makes the target believed that they missed], the mass of fireballs gather all around the opponent and seemingly appear to floating. Finally, with the use of a single hand seal [like the one Deidera uses to create explosions], the user directs all the intense fireballs towards their opponent and explodes on contact & engulfs them in flames.

Neji attacked the Smoke Dragon with a wind jutsu but he must have misjudged the strength of the smoke dragon as he barely used a moderate wind jutsu. Ragna continued to use his chakra and carry on his attack suffocating Neji by splitting the Dragon heads in 3 different parts approaching him from three diffrent directions and suffocating him. As that happens Ragna orders the giant Golemn to make a fist and come down on Neji crushing him underneath. Aiding in its power and momentum Ragna hardens the fist so that it crashes down with more speed and force.

Note: For the smoke dragon i think they would follow reg weakness and strength Wind/water C=B My smoke was=A, but im not entirely sure to be honest as this is a relatively new bio and skil im learning and my teacher went inactive as I asked this question. If Smoke is infact double weak I would have just attacked with my golemn after your wind

When Neji would use his wind jutsu to attempt to dispel the dragon composed of smoke, he notices that it grew two more heads which slightly caught him off guard. -Kusso, and I though one was trouble- In a quick reaction, While positioned mid range from his opponent, Neji first inhales and then begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra while simultaneously weaving the three necessary hand seals [Rat → Rabbit → Dog] and uses nature manipulation to create futon. When Neji is finished building up his wind chakra [but by this time, Neji is having a little trouble breathing since the dragon heads reached him], he quickly spins around in a circle as he exhales and uses shape manipulation to create a huge wind blade that extends in all directions and destroys the smoke creatures [and a weak B-rank wind blade continues towards you]. Coughing, and trying to regain some oxygen, his Byakugan sees a large earth golem running, jumping up into the air and coming down from above at a faster speed than usual. -Not good! Please make it in time...- As he is thinking this, Neji he spreads his arm like a bird & uses his body to create momentum and starts to spin rapidly. While doing so, immediately, Neji pushes chakra out of all his 361 tenketsu and then begins to spin faster and faster creating a powerful, large-scale dome shield. As the shield is still up, it stops the oncoming golem and repels it. When he stops spinning, he stands in a large crater created by his dome itself.

Panting moderately, Neji looks at Ranga who is yet to defend himself from the wind blade. Regaining his breath, he begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra inside of his stomach and uses nature manipulation to create very intense katon while weaving the one necessary only hand seal due to his fire mastery [Tiger]. When Neji is finished building up his fire chakra, he finally forces it up though his throat and out the mouth, spewing out a massive stream of blazing fire that rampages throughout the battle field in a wide area. When this katon jutsu reaches his opponent, they are entirely engulfed in bright flames and are finally reduced to black ash.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames, after doing the Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger hand seals. The technique has an enourmous range and can cover a huge area. When it was used by Madara Uchiha, the massive scale of the technique was such that, in comparisson, his incomplete Susanoo seemed small. The main advantage of the technique is that it can be used to burn large areas in an effect in everything similar to a flamethrower.

After Neji stops the golemn from attacking Ragna stops transferring chakra into the Golemn and shoots out a powerful blast of fire that continues past his B rank wind technique easily. As the fire continues towards Neji Ragna performs the snake handseal and shoots out an extremely fast spear of raition towards Neji as it travels alon with the fire jutsu.

"And now for some fireworks."

Ragna performs three handseals and slams his hand on the ground channeling massive amounts of Raition chakra into the earth until Raition begins to shoot out of an area with a 5 meter radius around Neji as the fire and raition destroy him. As it looks like shooting stars are exiting the abyss of fire and lightning.

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique

Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Description: The user will initiate the technique by doing a set of 3 hand seals, ending with the boar handseal. Slaming their hands on the ground, channeling mass amounts of lightning chakra within the area below the target. The user will then shape and manipulate the lightning underground, causing countless of 10 inch in length lightning bolts to spring up from under the target(s) and the area up to 5 meters around them; resulting in a devastating assault. Ripping through the skin causing lethal damage after several thunderbolts hit the target. The thunderbolts once shot up from the ground spring upwards in such a fast pace they look like shooting stars from a distance. Because of the pace in which they hurl from within the ground and the area they cover, it's dangerous for the user to be six meters or less near the opponent, risking to be caught in the array. Thus, being a technique designed for distances that surpass short range.
Note: Can only be used x2 per battle.
Note: The user cannot use other S rank (or high) lightning in the same and next turn.
