Maybe because there isn't racism involved in black on black crime? The issue isn't necessarily "Oh no black people are being killed" but that "Someone was killed because of racism." Is black on black crime worse, is it worth less attention? No, neither of that is true. But I could just as easily say "How dare you be upset that people are upset over racism? Aren't the racists at fault?" You can't say people getting mad about one issue is bad because there's another issue that exists. Murder is one thing, murdering due to racism is arguably another.
People are this upset about black on white crime or white on black crime because it's murder AND racism. Hopefully that puts a bit more perspective into this for you.
