Getting a one point infraction for even using any 'naughty' words? Not directed at anyone, just for using naughty words.

The worst thing, is the sarcasm and condescension dripping from every word they type, treating everyone as if they have an IQ of 30.

I know what you mean about the 'naughty' words, but one must remember that this is a family friendly site, and such words aren't exactly family friendly. And I find that when you speak to them with respect you get the same sort of response. But I've only spoken to so many of them, so my opinion on that matter may not count for much.

Exactly. If you treat them with respect, they'll start treating us with respect. People are constantly disobeying the sites rules. Of course they think we're being dumb. If we respect the rules they place, they will respect us.

Yes, but have you not seen some of the idiotic questions some members ask? Example, a member asks a mod how to do something obvious. Sometimes you just have to shake your head a t people. But I get it, all questions asked by members to moderators should be answered with respect, only if asked with respect that is.

I think we realize that the mods are sometimes in the wrong and they may realize it too.. But I don't think the site has active enough mods to realize when other mods may be in the wrong. More mods would be great while keeping the old ones ^^

the mods i have spoken to during my time here. have been generally nice. and laid back.But thats only because it goes 2 ways. you show respect and show them you can follow rules than they will do the same for you. if not well you know what happens then.

As for the "naughty words" theyre censored. if you avoid the sensor than yeh they have the right to ban you .because your breaking a farly large rule.

So start showing them that your not children and follow the rules then you wouldnt have this problem.

"Some" - I do love that you used that word. Some members ask stupid thing, which gives mods merit to respond to any and all questions as though they were stupid? Seems like it

Speaking to trolls is normal, understandable, talking like that to normal members however, is not.

I also hate the entire mentality of "You are posting on our site, it's a privilege" and "Mods do all this for free, they r great"

The entire point of a website is to open it to a crowd, and have users actively partake in discussions and such, but suddenly, when a user suggests something about moderation, it suddenly turns into, this website is actually a ****ing chapel, and we should all genuflect before the moderation teams golden ****. It doesn't work like that, websites change and become better through changing what their users want, if not, it doesn't improve. A point to add to this, is golden wonderful beautiful admin once told me to "Stop telling him/her how to run this site" after I suggested something to do with moderation. Goes to show how they hold their wangs above our heads.

The next point, "Mods don't get paid, worship them" doesn't work either. They all knew exactly what a job of moderating a forum entailed, and still opted in to do it. They leave, another 100 users will jump on the spot, guess what, for free. Moderators don't deserve to be paid, and whilst I agree they should be somewhat respected for what they are doing, when someone says "Mods don't get paid", that just doesn't make any relevant point.

You don't realize that for members to give moderators respect, they first have to do something respectable

They already did. That's why VERSUVIO, REI, and ZISE gave them this Title and responsibility. I Dont want to question their Intellectual Capacity and Judgement over this matter, They Know what their Doing.

Pride and Ego don't come into it at all, it's as simple as most users think most of the mods are bad. (My personal opinion N/A)

Because They like to Break the Rules.
And It's their Ego that cannot accept The Fact that they commit a Mistake.
And It's their Pride that took over when instead of Communicating with that Certain Mods,
Will Make a thread Ranting having an Infraction or Being Banned.

They were not Bad. They were just Misunderstood Just Like any other Normal Members.
My Personal Opinion too.
