I don't think it's that big of a blunder, and it's not like that entire thread is why they bashed it anyways. It's more-so you gave them an opening for them to vent out than actually enhancing their already amassed dislike for the series. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that thread.

Aren't true fans the ones that criticize and actually want the series to get better instead of eating all without questioning? Probably "true" fans are the ones that get disappointed the most, instead of hype retards that just go with trends.

So you have this:

1) True Naruto franchise fans that are bothered with the fact that the Boruto series is lackluster and doesn't compare to its predecessor which makes them disappointed. They see the faults of the series and can actually point it out.

2) Hype retards that eat everything without questioning.
