Yeah... You've all probably guessed this, but I'm giving you all closure with this thread. I no longer have enough time to be active on NB. I've tried to make time, and I've tried to tell myself, "Just give it a little while - you'll be able to make time eventually." But I can't. That's the cold, hard, damned truth. I can no longer commit any time to NB. I haven't gotten more than 6 hours of sleep each day for the past three weeks, and if I were to be active on NB, that number would drop to at most 4 hours.
I have to prioritize. In vague terms, real life is more important than NB. I think we can all agree on that.
So, I'm leaving NB for an unknown amount of time, most likely for 7-8 months. I wish to be stripped of my Sensei position, and of my position as the Tsuchikage. I deeply believe that Kaze should replace me as Tsuchikage, assuming nothing game-changing has happened in the past few weeks and assuming that it's possible for him to be Tsuchikage.
Firstly, to my students, I apologize. I cannot train you anymore. That is not something that I say easily, but it's the truth.
To the villagers of Iwagakure, from whom I could not have desired any more than what I received, I apologize. You are without my leadership, but I will soon be replaced.
To the staff of NB, I apologize. In my Moderator Application, I stated that I would have enough time to dedicate to NB. Obviously that is not true. I underestimated my obligations, and I am sorry for misleading you in that way. It was irresponsible of me.
I only beg that all of my customs and my Lava Element remain in my possession. I am not leaving NB forever, only for a few months. Kaze, I taught you Lava because I think you deserve it. Please, do not teach it to more than one other person during my absence, and please make sure that they don't teach it to anyone else.
I have, I do, and I always will cherish NarutoBase. The times I've spent on this site are like nothing else, and I, given the chance, would not trade them for anything. I've made countless friends, a few enemies, and I've even turned some enemies into friends. I've helped people, I've led people, and I have - in at least some small ways - perhaps changed the lives of some (Zanji, I'm looking at you). And, mark my words, I will be back.
If any of you for some reason need to contact me, I plan on logging on to MSN every once in a while ([email protected]) and I'll be on Xbox Live every once in a while (bioshaman37). Friend me if you want - we'll play Halo xd If you don't have an Xbox and need to contact me, ask Rag to send me a message - he's got Xbox.
Now I'm trying to think up some 'inspiring' words to end this thread with...... Be happy. That's all you can get out of life. Life's too short to spend wallowing in hatred, and it's too short to spend searching for the meaning of existence. Always be happy. There's no point to being sad, angry, or disappointed. You can turn any situation into a positive one, and there's no reason why you wouldn't want to.
