It's a meh series and I'm being kinda generous. The latest arc had good potential but went downhill. I guess it's worth reading till the Tartoras arc but even up to then as a whole it's nothing good/amazing. There's definitely a lot of better shonens to read than FT.

Grand Magic Games was worse. Tartaros was good until the ending, especially the "Because she's Erza!" BS.

I kinda liked Grand Magic Games, excluding all that Future Rogue BS. The GMG built suspension, competition, and intense rivalry that the previous seasons never offered.

The entire outcome of the Grand Magic Games was B.S. It was an insult to fans, but they still bent over and let Hiro's terrible writing pound into them. Then you got the future chapters after GMG with SPOILER ALERT!
