I'm Really Confused About Hidan's Strength, How Does He Stand Against...

Hm... we didn't see a whole lot of Hidan and we don't really know if he has any other jutsu techniques, but... Hidan's primary strength is the element of surprise against people who don't know he's immortal / don't understand his techniques. If Hidan solos against someone who understands the way his immortality works and is capable of disabling him in any way (being faster, being long-ranged, being smarter than him), he's going to lose unless he gets lucky.

Hidan needs to be partnered or working in a group to be really effective, and bonus points if one of the partners is someone smarter that he defers to in battle. That being said, I think Hidan is underrated.

Dismembered Hidan = basically useless. Hidan can't be killed, but I believe he can still die from things like malnutrition

Considering gated Gai, Tsunade, and Kisame's feats, they can easily dismember him

Not so sure about Hiruzen though

Tsunade wins. Hdan's only chance is if he decapitates himself. But I doubt he can get blood from Tsunade. And even if he gets, Katsuyu can melt Hidan when he is standing on his ritual circle.

These are some people I've heard he can beat easily, is there something I'm missing?

Lets face the facts here, Hidan can beat anyone in the naroverse without intel, except maybe Minato, but that is purely because he goes FTG from the start to finish of every battle which makes him virtually impossible to touch, same with Tobi and his intangibility.

The others would die without a doubt if they didn;t have intel, especially close hand combatants like Tsunade, Kisame, etc. Although that depends if Samehada and tsunade's jutsu can heal heart injuries. coz if Hidan stabs his heart thant in might be over very well be over. but wait, Hidan usually just leaves the scythe where there in his body for a while, so they would die regardless you can't heal the injury unless you take the weapon out.

On the flip side, WITH INTEL, everyone would beat him. plane and simple really.

Actually he'll be pummelled into dust by Tsunade's super punches the moment he gets close enough to get any blood.
