Edit: zetsu, danzo, madara, tobi... all are BLANK for their individual stats. It gives history and a ? in the stats area. I'm sure Kishi does this on purpose...

Right right correct. The Original version in Japanese was released almost 4 years ago. I highly doubt that no updates/additions were made to it when they retranslated it into Enlish in January b/c I see references to Shippuden things that are more recent. I just dont know what was the last manga 4 years ago, but it has references to Sasuke's group Hebi so I assumed they did updates before releasing the 1st English version this Year January.

Again, I could be wrong.





Someone asked me where can you read it online? S**t if I knew that I wouldn't have bought the book lol. But I bought it for less than $10 online at Amazon, its the same book that people put pics up of. Hope this helps

Yep, it took them 3 and a half years to translated the databook into English. I don't know why it took so long though. Nothing else has been added as far as I know. Databook 3 ends just before Naruto's fight with Pain I think. I know it is way further than Sasuke forming Taka though. You should be able to find the databook 3 translations on Google. I don't think im allowed to post the site here but type Gottheim-s-Databook-III-Translations into google and it should come up. Make sure you click on number 3 though. It doesn't have everything but it does have some information.
Im not sure when Databook 4 comes out but hopefully it is soon, we have been waiting forever for it lol.

It's as if you ask why Kurenai has 5 in genjutsus. Orochimaru wasn't bad in genjutsu at all. His only problem was sharingan genjutsu(i don't know why though). But you could notice that even Kurenai who also has 5 in genjutsu can't deal with sharingan genjutsus, but Kakashi who has 4.5 says he can

Dude this has to be an updated version of that old @$$ book from 2008. Its not just a simple reprint. They are discussing Kabuto and the cells he took from Orochimaru. I doubt that Manga came out 4 years ago!!!

Databook 3 is way after Kabuto implanted Oro's cells... it came out end of 2008, which was around the time Naruto fought Pain (volume 43/4).

Thanks for the update. Maybe it just looks like it has some updated info, but I wouldnt have assumed that the pain fight was over 3 years ago. Jesus man if thats true, this manga prints SLOW!!!

No problem. Yeh Naruto started back in 1999 lol. Shippuden alone started back in 2005.
If it was cheap then it is probably better to own the translated book anyway since you get quick access to anything you need and better translations.

I think that's the third one. Not sure though. I'm sure you can get it form your local bookstore. But I usually get my stuff from Kinokuniya.
