[Discussion] I'm not understanding the direction with the treasured tools

Clearly Kishimoto is trying to foreshadow that Madara may be sealed with them, but the uses of the tools are gimmicky and Madara himself stated they were useless. Without the lasso, which is now inside the gourd, the gourd cannot be used, and the urn only works if the person in possession of it speaks to his/her target and they respond back. Being that Madara has read the whole Uchiha stone, would it be too much to assume he also knows all the abilities of the treasured tools? Couldn't he also simply destroy the urn or be powerful enough to resist or break out of it? Or perhaps there's something more to them that we haven't seen yet. Perhaps they will trick and seal him after he has been defeated and weakened or perhaps all the treasured tools together will create a new one or another technique? Upon rereading the chapter, it looks like Ten Ten's scroll holding the tools was dropped right behind Hashirama.

Yeah I've been wondering wtf Kishi is foreshadowing with Tenten, these tools, and Madara too since he's been going on about it for a while. I considered that Tenten will officially seal Madara once he's beaten but that would lead to so much flame that it's not even funny..

But I still think there may be something else about them. What was sealed inside it. Who made the tools. It's like an open door, Kishi can go anywhere he wants to.

I just don't really like the possibility that the tools will be used to trap Madara once and for all, because it's way too dumb to leave important like that behind. Sadly, this is how it looks like :/

only tools that are still out in the world is the fan the benhisago and the kohaku no johei fan may be used as a distraction benhisago is useless without the rope and the sword

kohaku no johei is the only tool that can actually be used but they would have to catch madara in his most arrogant moment

something like that may be the use because like alot of people say madara may be too strong to be sealed in it

unless the other option is that kishi is planning on completely trolling madara and the readers by having madara being sealed completely by the tools which would leave a bad taste in all the readers mouths

I'm guessing tenten will use them, seal madara, and then they will explode and madara will start kiling people again. After they deal with Inifite Tsukiyomi, of course.

It's actually Sai's scroll that is behind Hashirama.

OT: I really don't know how they are going to be used. Without the Sword or the Rope, only the Amber Purifying Pot is of any use. Unless the Gold/Silver Brothers truly make a comeback.

Kishi also foreshadowed TenTen using them, but I don't see how she wouldn't be trapped in IT =/. The reason I don't think she's trapped is because it wouldn't make any sense, she obviously couldn't tell Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, or Sakura the information she received from the Cloud, it doesn't appear that she met up with any of the edos either, so having her say that would be royally pointless if she's presently sealed.

Though, the chapter should be out in a few more hours, and I'm sure Kishi has an explanation (even though it may not be explained in this chapter).

It's really impossible to seal the current Madara in the Amber Purifying Pot!!
I think Madara is now too much powerful to be sealed in it.
I guess, if Sasuke and Naruto can weaken Madara enough by extracting almost all Juubi's power, then, Hashirama or Other Edo Tensei Character might get a chance to use the Pot properly!!! XD
Otherwise, we just have to have some patience!! ^_^
