I'm not convinced that Tobi is a member the Uchiha clan, despite his decietful words and possession of the Sharingan. It is no secret that non-Uchiha can possess the Sharigan (i.e. Kakashi and Danzo).
I am also not certain that Sasuske actually killed Danzo in battle. I believe that the battle was a cleverly orchestrated ploy to create the illusion that Danzo was killed in combat by Sasuske. The "Danzo" defeated by Sasuske may have been a Zetsu clone-- a clone that may have been running Root for a very long time. Moreover, it's no secret that Tobi infiltrated villages and ran them from the shadows (Tobi took control of the Fourth Mizukage, in effect making him the "real" Mizukage, leading Kirigakure into the years of the "Bloody Mist".)
Can you see where this is leading? I believe that Danzo may be Tobi for a variety of reasons. First, both Danzo and Tobi have very similar (arguably identical) spiky hair styles. Second, Danzo was missing his left eye, just like Tobi was missing his left eye. Third, in Chapter 59o, it may be inferred that Danzo wanted Sasuske to survive the impending Uchiha massacre. For example, "Your unknowing little brother included. But by acting before it happens, he can still be saved... He will see his whole clan be destroyed by a shinobi of the Leaf, and will unmistakenably want to get revenge on the village.", stated Danzo in a private conversation with Itachi prior to Uchiha massacre. Fourth, Danzo may have harbored great anger and bitterness towards Konoha for its choosing of Hiruzen as Hokage instead of him, essentially discounting his perceivable talents as both a ninja and leader. Fifth, although it is unclear how one obtains the Rinnegan, it has been argued that the Rinnegan is either the evolution of the Sharingan or the Rinnegan is born from the combination of Senju/Uzamaki DNA and Uchiha DNA. Danzo's blood line is unclear. Orochimaru implanted Hashirama's Senju DNA into Danzo's right arm; in addition, Danzo stole many "Sharingans" from the Uchiha. That said, the combination of Senju DNA and the Sharingans may explain, assuming Danzo is Tobi, how Tobi, in his current form, obtained the Rinnegan.
