I'm having trouble reedeming code for my PSN account for my PSP. Please Read.

I have these PS store gift cards and I want to redeem the code so I can buy some games on PlayStation Network. I logged into my PSN account through the computer and typed in the code through the code reedemer but it said I can't do it since I'm a sub account. IDK who my master account is, I think I have forgotten it. Is it possible to find out who the master account is or at least some information like the user name(which is the email). I think that can help me remember it.

If there is no way, can I make a new master account on my computer in the PlayStation network website and then use it on my PSP? I already have my pervious account sign in and password auto saved, but can I replace it with new information and would it let me in?

But my PSP has this DNS error each time I try to go to PSN store and maybe account management. If I go on PSN website and make an account on there will the sign in and password work if I use it to login on the PSP.
