I think that Guy will be the one to open the 8th gate. I think the scenario would be him taking out one of the major villains or at least preventing a major attack to save the shinobi. I feel like one of those situations is very fitting, considering its a jutsu we've all been dying to see and its coming from an important character in the series. We might see Lee then be drawn to using it at the same time or even after with him surviving it who knows....

I can kinda see that happening but I hope it doesn't. This "DBZ revival plot-like" stuff has gotten old.

Thank goodness Neji is actually dead...but you never know with Kishi anymore.

When Naruto has a better form (Rikudou), so no problem for Gai & Lee.

I dont think we are seeing it anymore kishi fvcked that up too , gai could have used them long time ago & die or when they had kuramas cloak lee & gai could have used them & still survive , but now i dont see how is gonna fit into the story anymore u-u

I'd go with that if there wasn't one hax Minato on the battlefield that is capable of doing just that. I'm hoping the Juubi evolves and takes out the 4 Hokages. THEN, maybe.

Realistically I think the Hokage's will soon be sealed or released from the Edo by Orochimaru, I think the only reason they were brought back were as a way for Kishi to allow Sasuke to join the war on Naruto's side, and for Minato to give Naruto (and this is only speculation) the Yin half of the chakra.

I don't think Kishi will have them make notable headway against the Juubi/Madara.

I wonder how Rock Lee would feel after Gai does the 8th Gate.
I'm guessing the 8th Gate could defend against 6 TBB's since he said something like, "IT'S TIME TO USE THE 8TH GATE!" before Naruto got his Bijuu Mode. Now that's powerful.​

Hahaha, orochimaru is the most unpredictable guy out there. I remember I thought he died when he got bisected by 4 tail Naruto, only to reattach himself with snakes....

Why the Part 1 soundtrack is far better than Part 2's..... And I want to see the 8th Gate too, but Lee and Guy are too good characters to be wasted like this, maybe Guy will enrage and use it if Lee or Kakashi dies.

I still can't see how the 8 gates will play a role in this battle...

-Current kages are coming back in FULL HEALTH (F***ing LOL)

-Oro is also joining the battle field.

-I believe Juubito at this state could solo Gai or Lee in 8th gate.

-Naruto got his BM back and will likely get the other half of Kurama soon. More of a reason to believe the 8th gate isn't needed.

-Even if you negate the above point, there's still Sasuke. Another Main character who isn't gonna get out-shined out of the blue by Gai or Lee (Logically).

If you have some type of theory as to how Kishi can fit the 8th gate in this arc, i'm all ears.

With all the Hokages at the battlefield with Sasuke and co, the odds of one of the things i've been dying to see for years is starting to becoming slim to none.

What is it you ask? Its the power of the 8th gate.

This has been one the most hyped things in Naruto without question and with all the key players here, I feel as though the side characters (Gai and Lee) will take a permanent back seat.

Will Kishi troll us and never show it? Will we ever see the 8th gate open? ...And if so, in what possible scenario do you see it happening cause I ain't seeing it no more...

I already predicted this. 8-gates won't be shown, the reasons:

- Madara beaten 5 kages
- 8 gates gives you a power that can be compared to a hokage (maybe beyond)
- Obito is way stronger than Madara in its current state

Conclusion... at this rate, the 8-gates are useless against the current enemies, unless... Gai handles 8-gates with KC.
