[Discussion] I'm finding it so hard to still like Naruto over One Piece..

Originally my top 5 fav anime of time are

1.Naruto
2.One Piece
3.Death Note
4.DragonBall Z
5.Digimon/School Rumble (don't judge me)

And honestly at this point Lord Sasuke and Obito are the only things that are keeping Naruto at the top, I just love those two characters. But man One Piece has so many amazing here's a list for me

Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Robin, Franky, Brook, Hancock, Doflamingo, Shanks, Garp, ACE!, SABO!, Whitebeard, Roger (hype), Akainu, fujitora, KOALA! (favorite female character, even during the Fisher Tiger flashback)

The list could go on for me. I just love how Oda just makes every little thing and character important to the story. And characters that you thought were no longer relevant just come back without you even realizing it. He really built an entire world and I just love the adevnture and story and characters and emotions and comedy. The more I read One Piece the more I realize why it's the greatest selling manga of all time and wonder why it never got big in the west like DBZ, Naruto, or Poke'mon. The Fishman Island and Punk Hazard arc were pretty meh for me, no real sense of danger. But man, dressrosa really makes you realize how crazy sh*t is gonna go down in the New World. But yeah man it's honestly to the point where I never want this series to end lol. I want a never ending adventure. If Naruto had continued down that terrible path of pick up moments and constant Naruto wanking and useless sh*t like the Gokage flashback and Shikamaru's speech, One Piece would took the top spot hands down but geez thank god for Madara...

Anyways I f*ckin' love One Piece, I plan on collecting every single volume so my kids and my kid's kids will see what great manga series that I was blessed to grow up on.

All that being said, the anime for both series equally suck. Naruto's constant filler and lazy animation and One Piece's terrible habit of dragging scenes on for hours. Like there was a One Piece episode that dragged on the scenes so badly that it actaully had less content than an actual chapter smh lol

The reason why One Piece isn't as big in the west llike Naruto,DBZ or Bleach is simply because of 4kids ....it destroyed the quality of series to the point where it couldn't have a comeback, while Naruto had Cartoon Network(which didn't give kids the same nightmares 4kids did).​

I used to think Naruto was the best of the big 3...when I first started getting into manga...however the Naruto series quality dropped due to Kishimoto's terrible developing of characters I mean I had such big hopes for Naruto after the time skip only for him to return just as weak as he was...I mean he sort of redeemed himself with Sage mode but...meh.

Now I put Bleach as my number 2 in my top 3 as it's really quite good when you get over the urge to just watch fights and action.

Obviously One Piece is at number 1 for me the development of characters and the stories far surpass Naruto's.

Simple analysis of why and how OP is no 1.
Luffy is a df user and df's are the one most 1piece thing in the world and on his ship Luffy is no1.
Zoro is a swordsman and in bleach the central theme is swords and guess what he is no2.
Sanji shld I go on was actually supposed to b named Naruto but for more ninja r in reality pple who master hand to hand combat though they still use Kunai and whatnot but im sure i've head some where that a ninja's no1 weopon is their body, so lets just say Sanji is the taijustu practitioner of the crew and he is no3.

I just started reading OP this last year and a half. I caught up on the manga in like a month it was ridiculous. I was reading like 20+ chapter a day lol. But the crazy thing is it has turned into my fav manga of all time. Naruto still is good but the biggest reason I think One Piece passed it by for me was the fact that Oda progresses all of his characters while Kishi has turned all of Konoha 12 besides Naruto and Sasuke into fodder. I mean it sucks for the people that started the series from the beginning and liked any of the other ten characters and have to have kishi shit on them like their nothing.... smh.

It's a great series no doubt. But i've been following it for year and a half only, and Naruto for 8 years. I'll prolly need years after Naruto has ended to start liking it more.

Let me tell you a story. I had never watched Naruto only played the games up until Naruto Ultimate Ninja Impact on PSP. I also gave on One piece after it stopped airing on television along time ago.

I got back into One Piece later on although i started Naruto Shippuden at the same time. I have not watched the normal naruto series but i am still very knowledgable in what happened via the wiki & played naruto games. At first, when i was watching BOTH of these awesome anime i was like awesome!!!! They are on par!!!!

But years later, now i believe One Piece > Naruto. Naruto shippuden pretty amazing up until the war arc. Thats when it went downhill unfortunately. Post the akatsuki being defeated & kage meeting was my turning point when i gave up in the naruto series. Recently, my love for Naruto has increased with more mysteries [ mysteries is what keeps a anime interesting & liked ] but its still not beating my love for ONe Piece U_U

ONE PIECE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
