I'm Confused with Naruto & Sasuke's Power Ups

Ok when Hagoromo gave Naruto and Sasuke their power ups did they recieve half of Hagoromo's power or the power of Ashura and Indra ? Or are both powers the same ? I just need someone to clarify this, because right now I feel like I don't really know.

He gave them each half of his power, they are simply the transmigrants of Ashura and Indra hence the reference to them.

Naruto received the Yang half, and Sasuke the Yin.

Ashura and Indra are Yin and Yaing, just like Naruto and Sasuke.
