I'm Calling It. Madara is Not the Final Villian

I don't think Madara is the final villain. Why? well there are a few reasons.

1. Kishimoto stated that the Juubi would be a point of conflict of the upcoming chapters

According to the Rikudou's prophecy the Juubi's revival signals the world's end. Madara and Obito weren't trying to destroy the world, just reality.

3. Naruto is called the Savior, meaning he will save the world from something. Stopping a massive genjutsu can fit the bill I guess, but it doesn't really seem like the kind of thing the Rikudou would make a prophecy about.

I think that he will be, although I definitely can't say for certain. I don't see Kishi being able to introduce anyone else that can possibly top Madara at this point, save for Orochimaru taking over his body. Don't see any chance of that happening though. Also, I really don't know what Naruto and Sasuke would fight for now, they're working together extremely well and I believe if they do fight it won't be anything like Sasuke being the final villain. Maybe a friendly spar for hokage after a timeskip, but that's all just speculation.

The fact that Orochimaru ISN'T taking a major part in the war suggests that he will be the final villain of the series. Think about it: Once Madara is defeated and this war is over, Orochimaru is still going to be lurking about. Theres a reason Kishi brought his character back again.

Pretty sure there was a comedic undertone to that, but I really do think that Madara is gonna end up putting something into motion that he can't control, or once he is weakened the Juubi will take over

The fact that Orochimaru ISN'T taking a major part in the war suggests that he will be the final villain of the series. Think about it: Once Madara is defeated and this war is over, Orochimaru is still going to be lurking about. Theres a reason Kishi brought his character back again.

Unless he just up and dies. Orochimaru could always just end up on the wrong end of a TBB FinXD XD XD

It has to be Sasuke. Naruto's strength and his purpose foretold by Rikudou is to guide the Bijuus from hate and his goal is to lead the shinobi world. Sasuke's goal is to destroy the Bijuus and the current shinobi world. Shippuuden has been the story and individual paths of these two, and it is no coincidence that their plans collide. This entire show is about choices, paths, and bonds. A final fight to show these things could be nothing less than a Naruto vs Sasuke fight in my opinion =D
