I showed my cousin Natsu Vs Gajeel fight yesterday. He said it reminded him of One Piece, in a sense where all the characters have a different elemental moves. I just wanna confirm is that really true? Does Fairy Tail and One Piece have a similar way of fighting?

it keeps going on hiatus, so i'll wait till the anime and manga finishes.

The manga doesn't keep on going on hiatus. I know cause I read it. I've only started reading since like the start of the year or sometime last year when I finished the old Fairy Tail anime lol. And so far, there have been no random hiatuses...

You could read Tokyo Ghoul though. It's weekly, but the part 1 of the manga ended and the author is releasing a new manga on the 17th, which is most likely part 2 of the manga.​
