I just wrecked my car...I drew the last straw with my parents, and now I'm on my own. They have removed me from insurance, and I go to school and work. I have no idea how I plan on getting to school in the mornings, and I will have to be on public transport by 8pm to make it to work by 11pm...this blows, I really just want to off myself, but I don't have the means to do so. Something wants me to keep pushing, put I can't find what it is...I've never been a terrible person before, why am I being condemned for one mistake??? ??? I just want to die!!!....

I hope you didn’t get injured during the accident. I know things seem very bleak now, but you can still turn things around. Instead of using your energy to compare the good deeds you have done to the bad deeds and wondering why you are being punished, focus on how you can move forward in the situation you are now in and what you can take from it. Review and familiarize yourself with the public transportation options in your area. Are there days (nights) where you can get a ride from someone, or carpool? Is there a place for you to stay at that’s closer to your school/work on days/nights that are going to be really early/late? Your parents are probably really upset now, but maybe they are not doing this just to make your life miserable because they are mean. Perhaps if they see that you are trying your best and you demonstrate a level of responsibility, they will consider revoking their decision about the insurance and driving stuff. Anyway, I hope things work out for you soon. And whatever your positive coping strategies are, use them. Take some deep breaths, and think about the things you have accomplished and the things you can do. If you are still feeling really down or experience a persisting sense of hopelessness or have thoughts of harming yourself, talk to someone you trust and seek help. Actually, it is never too early to talk to someone if you are not feeling well. Good luck and take care.

GinkgoLeaf Girl summed it up pretty well.

You are be able to overcome these obstacles. Will it be easy? No, of course not. Just keep going, get used to the new situation and figure things out with your parents. Even though I don't know you or your family, I'm sure things will work out. And in the future, you will probably laugh about this situation and about how worried you were. It will make you stronger :>

Dying isn't the answer, everything happens for a reason.

Were you speeding? Was it reckless? Were you driving while under the influence? Things like that come into matter, now if it wasn't your fault and someone jerk wrecked into you and totaled it then I don't see how your parents are giving you a hard time about it. Things like that happen.

Mistakes are natural. It's what makes us human. It's how we evolve.

Well my mother(single mother) never afforded car, and frankly she still can't. I always dreamed of such tale of parents wealthy enough to buy you a car =D. But trust me what I learnt is whatever she did no matter how harsh it was, it was for the best for you.

Her favourite line is, "I can't carry you for 9 months yet I am against you." It makes a sage twiddle. Why go through the struggle for a child you don't care about. Instead of dumping you in the bin they brought you up. Trust me, they are just acting tough. When shit gets real your mother will come running to check you and ask you what you need...

I am the man I am today because of her :) she raised me to afford a car she never did afford

Are you under 18? If so that's a different problem (at least in some countries). Life is difficult. You aren't a failure as a human, but you have made mistakes and will continue to have failures. People make your situation work everyday. If you keep kicking yourself in the teeth you'll never be able to productively manage day-to-day stress. Breathe deep, keep a calm mind, and plan accordingly. Your situation could be worse or better.
