Okay so chakra molding, channeling and projection?? Huh...
I thought for a while, before coming up with an answer. I wanted to go into as much as details as possible and hence decided to make it a little bit lengthy, while adding few extra points.
Genjutsu, just like many other techniques is a part of ninja techniques. Only difference is, the effects are illusionary, still it requires chakra and handseals, extensively. Chakra is made up of physical and spiritual energy. The most notable thing about genjutsu is, it requires me to produce illusionary effects and not real once and hence is more associated with yin aspect of chakra and hence associated with spiritual energy more, this is something that I need to take care while molding process, but still I need to mold both physical and spiritual energy both, to give 'form to my imagination'.
Another, most important thing which needs to be taken into consideration is, to put ninja into genjutsu, one needs to channel chakra into his brain and confuse his senses, this is where the tricky part comes, as it requires intelligence and skill. Skill to confuse his senses and chakra control to channel chakra perfectly into his brain, so that he won't be able to notice this process. This higher amount of chakra control is associated with handseals and hence almost all genjutsus require handseals. The control over chakra can also be obtained without using handseals, but it requires special skills, such as sound genjutsus(which put opponent into genjutsu instantaneously due to amazing speed of sound) and also Sharingan genjutsus, which only need eye contact. These type of techniques, make them much more deadly.
Another important aspect that we need to take into consideration is, chakra never flows physically out of your body, but is projected and hence your chakra system may get disturb and hence you can't see it coming, you can figure out that you are in genjutsu, only after being put into one. These important aspects of genjutsu make it difficult to counter, if used properly.

That was enough, I thought to myself. I had tried my best to illustrate the stuff. The only thing that was left was listening to the verdict of my sensei.
So I just wait nervously, waiting for him, to respond.

I'm impressed.

*I make several clones*

Now try forcing your chakra into my clone and disturb his chakra network. Then if you are able to do that, manipulate his sense of sight and make him see the surrounding in a different way.

I can clearly see the sense of satisfaction on the face of my sensei, as he smirks a little while appreciating my efforts.
I then listen to the description given by my sensei and see him creating few clones, on whom I can test out my skills.
Without wasting a moment, I gather my chakra and then force it in the brain of the clone to overcome the control he had on his five senses, typically the control he had on his eyes.
As a result, I change the surroundings around the clone, to give the atmosphere around him a funereal like look. Your clone starts seeing the death of all the people close to him and starts seeing funereal of all his loved ones, which puts strain on his brain. He sees the loved ones of his comrades crying in front of him out of agony, exerting massive mental and emotional pain on him. He also sees an orphaned child crying at short range from him, requesting your clone for help.
Your clone mentally breaks down and starts crying.
In reality, I have put him in the genjutsu, as I am standing at mid range from him and everything is normal around me. I stay silent to make sure that he won't figure out quickly that he is under genjutsu.

Anyways, can I confuse only one sense at a time or all senses simultaneously?o.o

As of now, Only one sense, which is the eye.

retry.

Make him see the surrounding in a different way. Not horror of people close to him, those are two different things. What are there in his surrounding that you change to his sibblings? What did you change to the cemetary? Details. Your idea may work though, depending on how you fashion it.

Okay, I will just retry it, making it more detailed.^^

Chelsea realizes that she had failed in casting her first genjutsu. It wasn't surprising, you never get success easily, they say.
Chelsea again focuses for a bit and then channels the chakra to the brain of the clone nearest to her. She gains control over his eye completely and then controls his vision, so that he can see the tall grass around him appearing in the form of corpses of his dear once.
Due to the illusion, her enemy sees the nearby tree being changed into the crying child. Although, since he can't hear his cries and since his other senses are intact, he can still break out of the genjutsu.
I hope I did better this time, Chelsea waits for you to judge her.

Still a no no to "loved ones" cos you don't realy know who he loves or not. Why not change the entire grass to horrific ruins with scattered bones? The grass, are they long enough to assume the shape of a full grown man?

Leave the complexity and lets deal with simple ones that would not cry out genjutsu.
Example
-you make the environment smokey all of a sudden so that you target won't see
-You make the environment misty or rainy
-you make your target thinks you boxed him in a compartment leaving him with no freedom of movement

etc etc.

Now try for the last time.

I suck at genjutsu.>_>

Okay, I will give it a try and will try to create something basic, rather than going for the complex scenarios.
Chelsea again gathers her chakra, thinks about a really simple scenario and then channels the chakra in the brain of the clone nearest to her.
She gains complete control over his vision and then turns the grass and ground around the opponent in the form of mud, which is only visible to the clone, but the stickiness can't be felt by him, since I am controlling his vision, solely.
Your clone may mistook it for something like 'Swamp of the underworld', if he doesn't think about it carefully.
I hope I did better this time..

Its better. Very Good.

Next put my clone in another illusion taking control of his sense of sight. Make him see that you disperse into a plume of flowers and twirl around him while blocking his eyesight. In reality, you are still there and can attack him while he is distracted.

Finally, I did it, successfully.
Moving on, switching back to first person perspective.

After listening to your explanation, I focus my attention on your next clone. I swiftly remove kunai from my pocket, using my right hand and grab it and start running towards your clone. After reaching at short range from your clone, I use the kunai to attack your clone, but before your clone can reach for his own kunai, I channel chakra through his brain and put him in a genjutsu, where I disperse into the petals of a Cherry blossom flower and swirl around him, typically around his head, to completely hider his vision.
Due to his vision being obstructed, he doesn't see real me attacking him, as I continue with my kunai and attack at his chest and make him disappear.
This move can be used creatively against covert attacks, hence I will be using this genjutsu move pretty frequently.
I wait for you, to give your verdict.:p

That was an interesting question, nonetheless. Each and every genjutsu has a subtle hint, which I can use to figure out that I am in a genjutsu.
I think for a while before answering the question regarding this genjutsu.
Hmm...In this genjutsu, I turn into the petals of flowers and wrap myself around the opponent and block his vision and hence my enemy can easily figure out that he is in genjutsu, if petals appear out of nowhere, without any trees present in the area around us.
That is, I need to conceal myself when I need to wrap myself around his eyes and hence spring like weather in which petals fall from the trees, will be the most useful weather for me. When I am near the tree and when the weather is windy, it will make really difficult for him to figure out that he is in genjutsu and hence this type of environment and terrain will be useful.
On the other hand, if I am in a dessert like terrain, my opponent will easily figure out that he is in genjutsu, since there are no trees around.

Even if there was a possibility that my answer was correct, I still felt anxious.

Very Correct!

Now another of my clone approaches. Put him yet again in another illusion of the sense of sight. Bring out a paper bomb and in the illusion make him see you make a clone instead. Then throw the paper bomb towards him while he would only see a clone of you approach him. Once the clone gets close, it explodes though in real life, its the explosive tag exploding. This kind of move however is lethal as it may cause death to an opponent who is totally deceived by it.

After succeeding in performing two jutsus, Chelsea feels relieved. She always thought that mastering genjutsu will be much difficult for her, but unexpectedly she was wrong.
She listens to the description of the next jutsu and after understanding properly what she has to do, she performs tiger handseal to confuse her opponent even more and then channels the chakra to her opponent's brain where clone of Chelsea appears out in front of the clone, which then takes out kunai and then runs towards him to attack him.
In reality, Chelsea removes a paper bomb from her ninja pocket and then throws it at the opponent,
which explodes while clone comes for close combat against my clone using him own kunai and injures the clone, making him disappear.
It can go good with covert attack and many other explosive tags related moves...

Chelsea takes a bit while this time as she knows one thing, this is going to be a tougher one to break through, but every jutsu has a weakness and there is a weakness to this one as well.
The best way to counter this genjutsu, is to attack the clone appearing in front of me, using the kunai or similar lower ranked jutsu/weapon and then use some defensive tech to protect myself.
Since clones don't explode, I will figure out that it is rather something else.

That was the best she was able to come up with, she waits for you to suggest a better way or to tell her if she was right or wrong.

Clones dont explode? What if I intentionally plant a paper bomb on my clone so as to use it as a decoy, or I use the exploding clone tech?
That reasoning is not correct, however, you can say you attack the clone with a kunai and once the clone explodes, there is not reason for the genjutsu to linger as the purpose of the genjutsu is already foiled.

Any question?

Yeah, you are spot on. Maybe, I should have thought about that possibility too, sensei.
Chelsea admits that she could have done better. There is always a chance of improvement and she knew there will be many chances in the future. Her sensei made a good point though, something that she should keep in mind.
Ugh, no questions at the moment. We can continue...

Put my clone in another genjutsu that decieves the sense of sight, make him see that your clones , hundreds of them begin to emerge from everywhere on the terrain. The ground, tree, water, etc.

Also tell me how this is detectable and the reasoning behind it.
