Advantages, to cloud ones mindset to believe a false reality that eventually leads to their death. A swift yet silent way to kill the opponent and or cut numbers. It can also be used for scare tactics and or for suppression against foes. Disadvantages, easily breakable, someone can as swiftly arrive to a conclusion as quickly as you can deliver. Also leaves you extremely vulnerable if you are to hit only one person in a group. How i would use it in battle, by merely attaching one line to another without suspicion, to distract or even kill my opponent in the most swift yet secretive way possible.

 

[Detective L]

"How would you kill the opponent using this technique? Or do you mean using it as a way to distract the opponent, in order to then kill them with something that actually does damage, as this doesn't?"

Elijah asks, making sure that his student understood the illusion correctly.

''Distract then kill, kill then distract, its all the same. You can kill the opponent by merely breaking their sanity or doing it physically in the real world as they just stand there due to the illusion that distracts them.''

Kazu looks away from his sensei afterwards.

"Their sanity? And how do you break the opponent's sanity with a Genjutsu that only changes the terrain?"

Elijah asks, once more making sure his student understood the technique, hinting that it wouldn't hurt to take another read.

''A terrain made by fear or horror could be something that might break ones sanity.''

OOC: What I am trying to say is, this technique was not developed to break the sanity of the opponent. It is merely an illusion, and it doesn't even do damage, it only changes the terrain. With this in mind, try again.
