Kate quickly does perform the technique, with quite some ease too. Dean liked her approach, and as such he cleared his throat and said;

"Very good performance of the Genjutsu. Now, what would you say are the advantages and disadvantages of this technique?"

Dean crosses his arms as he waits for Kate to answer him.

"Ugh!!! Really sorry sensei, I always seem to forget this part. Anyways, the advantages...
-No handseals are needed for this so that makes it easier.
-Momentarily distracts the opponent allowing you to attack.
-I think the sword here is an advantage because when the opponent is distracted you could use it to damage or kill him/her.
Alright, now we move on to the disadvantages...
-Its is risky as it only works close range,so your enemy could do damage to you easily.
-It takes a little while before the illusion takes effect and during this time the opponent can do damage to you as well.
-Can only be done with a sword. Would've been alot more easier if you could just wave your arms around.

The illusion only stays active if you keep waving the sword right? "

Kate quickly does her part, by answering the questions that Dean had. She was right on all parts, and actually had a question too (which was quite rare with students these days ;-; ). He then threw the scroll towards her.

"Very good, and no, the waving of the sword merely initiates the Genjutsu. Here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

"Alright, next in line. The technique starts off by forming the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals, which then triggers the Genjutsu. The opponent would then see the user disappear, whilst simultaneously, bean vines start growing from beneath the opponent. These bind around the opponent, constricting them in place and lift them into the air. A bean pod then rises from the ground, from which the user appears and strikes. However, in reality, the opponent is immobilized and allows you to strike. Analyse it for me."

"Alright so my analysis on the technique, not only does it help you have a better chance at successfully damaging your opponent but it also works as a way to buy time for attacks that may perhaps need time to charge up. The technique's performance however is rather slow as you have to do four handseals before inducing the Illusion, this I like to think of as a flaw in the technique due to the fact that it makes it easier for the opponent to detect the illusion. This Genjutsu is filled with other flaws that make it easier for one to determine it is indeed an illusion quite easily, from the user becoming invisible just like that, to the gigantic bean vines that just come from the ground without anything having been done ( now one would probably say, what if the person did the bean vines when they where invisible ) I would however like to point out here it says,
The opponent would then see the user disappear, whilst simultaneously, bean vines start growing from beneath the opponent.
Now on to the next point , the opponent also sees themselves being wrapped up and lifted by the vines and that I think its also a fault since they would probably feel like they are still standing on solid ground, this can help them detect the illusion and therefore breakout with ease (I noticed the Gen is like a visual thing) I do find the immobilization of the opponent to be useful though, gives you time to damage them severely. Now the other bothersome part about this illusion is the part where in the illusion the opponent sees you coming out of a bean pod....I mean c'mon!!! at this point they are basically just telling you its an illusion, who comes out of bean pods? A good technique overall all but to me it has more downs than ups so I wouldn't use it much (I probably will use it alot, just trying to act cool lol u.u)."

As she analysed it, Dean already got the scroll out and tossed it towards her. The technique was indeed easy to notice, and as such they could continue. Here the large amount of flower based Genjutsu started.

"Great job, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

"Now the next technique is faster, and more fluid than the previous one and also stronger. Without the need for hand seals, you will trap the opponent in an illusion where they are trapped in a large flower bud. After a while, this flower bud explodes. The opponent then believes that this explosion really occurred and collapses. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage. Analyse it."

"This one is a teensy bit difficult to analyse but I'll give it my utmost best. Alrighty then, my analysis. Quite like the other one, this technique can effortlessly be deduced. The fact that it has no handseals starts like this chain of more reasons why it is but an illusion, let me go more into detail... Lets say you induce this illusion on me, I'd notice you didn't do any handseals and that im all of a sudden in a flower bud, where did it come from and how am I all of a sudden in it? This alone is enough to make me realise its an illusion, ofcourse you could also add not being able to feel the bud that you are in and break out with ease.

Anyways moving on to the part where the bud explodes, to be honest I personally would just die then and there because I would not be able to make logical sense of it and break out. Now, because im in the bud I wouldn't know if my opponent maybe used a bomb to make it explode or some other method as I wouldn't be able to see him. I cannot say break out before the explosion happens because one does not know exactly when it happens or how long it takes to happen but to be on the safe side rather break out as quick as you can. This part of the illusion to me is quite a big help(depending on if you're the one inducing the Genjutsu or not).

The fact that the Genjutsu is very easy to do is also a huge advantage because you could be in a tight situation and this, would be quite useful in order to help you escape your predicament.Overall to me this is a great technique and would come quite in handy during a battle.

She analyses it effortlessly and Dean decides to simply change the training way to analysing, since it was easier for both of them. Kate also had a good grip of the techniques now, and how they work. Dean smiles as he tosses the scroll towards her.

"Great job, also the fact that the flower bud simply appears. If it were to grow from the ground, and actually disturb some soil as it does so, then it would have been a more believable technique. Anyway, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

"Next technique starts off by forming five hand seals and inducing the Genjutsu upon the opponent. Once trapped, the opponent would see the user dissolve into a mist. The user would then stealthily approach the opponent, and get into close range. In the mean time, the opponent would be immobilized by a fast growing tree, trapping them. Suddenly, the user would emerge from the tree, and attack the opponent, In reality though, the opponent is simply immobilized, allowing the user to attack them. Analyse it."

"Alrighty!!!This technique...."
I pause and take a deep breath before continuing. Well to be honest it was more of a sigh really but nevermind that.
Ok so this technique is quite easy to deduce as it has quite a few noticeable flaws. The first one being the user dissolving into mist just like that, the second one being the fast growing tree growing out of the ground again just out of the blue and the last flaw being the user emerging from the tree after he "supposedly dissolved into mist?", using any one of these reasons could easily help you break out of the illusion. Despite its flaws I guess the technique can be used as a quick distractions from the user, thus enabling him/her to carry out their plans although not very useful.
Anways moving on, I have a question about the first part of the illusion, when the user dissolves into mist, how far does this mist reach? Also does this mist disappear and then the tree grows or how does that work?

She quickly analyses the technique, which was done well. Dean smirked as he listened to her talk, followed by throwing a scroll towards her which shows that she had done it right. However, she had questions.

"Well done, and as for your question, you literally dissolve into mist in the Genjutsu. From what I can get from the technique, the mist isn't thick and thus, allows you to stealthily approach the target/opponent. So, it doesn't really cover a range to be honest. You approach through mist, the tree then grows which immobilizes the opponent and then the person emerges from the tree. So the mist disappears after the tree had started growing. All in the Genjutsu, by the way. here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

"Now, a nice Genjutsu for people who have the Snake summons. Without the need of hand seals, you will place the opponent in a Genjutsu where snakes appear beneath the opponent. These snakes will then constrict the opponent, and with mental command, the snakes can crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to stress on his mind (only if the snakes proceed to actually crush him). Analyse it for me."

Dean waits for Kate to do so.

" Right!! So I'd like to start will all the advantages of this technique.Number one, it has no handseals so that makes it faster and less easy to deduce. Number twoooo, the constricting part comes quite in handy if you are looking to immobilize your opponent and, at this point of the illusion in reality you can attack already. This illusion has a bonus added to it as it allows you to deal damage to the opponent or rather they deal damage to themselves due to mind stress after the snakes 'crush' him/her,eitherway damage is dealt and you are left with the upper hand which is always a good thing. Now on to its flaws which to be honest are dead giveaways to the illusion. If the opponent doesn't have any snake summons it makes it easier to deduce this, also even if he does have summons he never summoned them and neither did you (no handseals remember?). The other flaw is that snakes don't just simply come from underneath the ground without having gone under in the first place. In all honesty this is an awesome Gen if you're up against someone with snake summonings like you said but really its flaws stand out like the Burj Khalifa would if it were ever to be transported to the Namib desert.Really someone has to do something about this"

BRUH xD And I just started making the bio now.

Kate quickly analyses the technique with ease, she was getting accustomed to the way things were. Not that she had struggled in the beginning, she became better though. Its the one thing Dean always enjoyed about training people, the growth. He smiles as he tosses the scroll towards Kate.

"Nice reference xD. Anyway, very good, here you go."

"Now for the last B rank Genjutsu technique. This one is very simple, and is initiated without the need for hand seals. In the illusion, illusionary purple flowers are summoned in front of the opponent, and paralyses them. This paralysis lasts a single turn. Although its a bit weird, it is an effective Genjutsu. Analyse it."

"That's it?? Alright then, my analysis. So this Genjutsu is very simple to do as it requires no handseals to do it, this also makes it quicker to do. The Genjutsu paralysis the opponent giving you a short time to do what you have to do because lets be honest, this one is extremely simple to deduce.. Firstly it has no handseals, which brings up the question how did these purple flowers just appear like that and why have I just become paralyzed after they appeared? The opponent can then realize it's an illusion and break out of it. I guess since its B rank it's good for something because

It was indeed as she had analysed. The technique was simple to deduce, and it had taken her little to no time anyway. She had become good at this, and they were closing in on finishing Genjutsu.

"Very good, and yes, its easy. Here you go."

"Now, onto the A ranks. The technique starts off by forming a single hand seal and placing the opponent in a Genjutsu. You will then toss a large amount of explosive tags towards the opponent, which look like butterflies to the opponent in the Genjutsu. As a finale the opponent feels that he starts sinking down into the ground, where he will then be immobilized in reality. As they are immobilized, you will place one final tag on the opponent's head, then walk away like a boss, as they all detonate simultaneously. Analyse it."

"Alright!!!Anyways this one starts of with a simple handseal which places the opponent into and illusion where they see you throw butterflies at them, After a while the opponent starts begining to sink (or at least they feel that way)whist in reality he is just standing there thus allowing the bombs to make contact and deal damage to him/her. I love this technique its quick and simple and if you're lucky enough you get to see someone explode. Ok but on a serious note,it's quick as it only has one handseal, also the part where the opponent starts sinking in to the ground thus immobilizing him is really cool as it actually lets the exploding tags do what they do best... ... ... EXPLODE!!!! The technique however has about three really noticeable flaws that can help the opponent deduce and escape it. One, WHO ON EARTH throws butterflies at people!!!!?and where did they even come from? aaaaaand Two, people do not just begin sinking into the ground out of the blue, this isn't 'Drag Me to Hell', and one more thing you said they "feel" like they are sinking ,but do they see themeselves sinking? If no, the opponent can use that to escape.Anyhu this technique is pretty not useful if you ask me,as it is quite easily deductible. The only thing it has going for it is its rank, A-ranks are quite hard to escape compared to the other techniques we did.

Another one was cleared off, as she analysed it. It was one of Dean least liked techniques anyway, as it put the user in danger of killing himself alongside the opponent. Nonetheless, Dean threw another scroll towards, which was one of the last times he would do so. They were nearing the end of their training.

"Very good Kate, and indeed, who throws around butterflies like that? Smh. Here you go."

Rank: A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

"Now we'll just do the last two together. The first technique starts off by forming a single hand seal, and placing the opponent in an illusion. Within this Illusion, the opponent will start to see white feathers fall from the sky. This gradually makes you drowsy, and after a single turn, puts you to sleep. If you are put to sleep, its game over.

The second one starts off by forming a single hand seal which immediately places the opponent in a Genjutsu, where they are trapped in a world of total darkness. Thus, their sense of sight is totally useless at this point however, their other senses are not hindered. This can be used on a group of opponents. A very useful illusion, but also simple to break. Analyse both (Just make a space between the two analysis')."

Dean waits for Kate, as he crosses his arms.

We were about to reach the end of my illusionary arts training and I was filled with both excited and sad emotions, sad because Dean was such an awesome sensei and all that other mushy flebby-fleb stuff, don't make me go through it. Anyways I began to analyze the last of my Gen techniques.

" Alright so the first one, this one also starts off with a single handseal which places the opponent into an illusion where they begin to see white feathers fall from the sky. After which they will begin to feel sleepy and fall asleep. I've noticed that this illusion basically just has one main effect and that is to make the person sleep (after which you can do whatever you want to do with that person O_O ). Deducing this specific genjutsu is not as simple as one would think. Ok so will notice the feathers falling from the sky but there are no birds or griffins or whatever, however this seems pretty harmless and you might not even think that you are in a genjutsu and as such you won't think about breaking out, at least not until you realize you are beginning to feel sleepy, at which point you have to work fast to find a logical explanation for the sleepiness(as you wouldn't know whether the opponent used some kind of gas or something) in order to break out otherwise you're dead... ... or raped whatever floats the users boat >_>. Overall, Epic technique this one can't wait to use it."

"Now for the next one, it also begins with single hand seal which immediately places the opponent in a Genjutsu, where they are trapped in a world of total darkness, in this world ones sense of sight is totally useless and thus one is left vulnerable to attacks in reality. There is no upside to this technique really, well in my opinion anyways, because it doesn't matter if you have all your other senses you cannot see and so you cannot defend from any oncoming technique.Okay so maybe there is the upside of keeping all your other senses, if you have like super hearing or like a super sense of smell or whatever.Breaking out of this one is a tad bit difficult sue to its rank but other than that, deduction can be done quite easily I guess, using the fact that you saw the opponent perform the handseal and immediately after it went dark. Other than that I do not know of any other way to deduce this one. However, one has to be quick when deducing and breaking out because this technique could literally be the death of you. Another awesome technique one could use to quickly gain the upper hand."

I quickly tucked some of the hair which had been hanging over my eyes back behind my ear and looked at my sensei.

Kate does her last two techniques with ease, and Dean decides to add his last part, just to make sure how easy it was to break out of the Genjutsu she deemed a bit difficult.

"Very good, and if you have your other senses, you can rule out that it is a physical technique. Like why would only your sight get hindered, if it was a flash bomb, you would hear it explode, smell the materials within it, and it would flash bright white, before it hinders your vision. One example as to how you can use your other senses. Other than that, here you go."

"One down", I say to myself as I walk off into the forest and further away from the training grounds, with a bag of scrolls, a bag which Dean had left behind." How thoughtful of him." I laugh to myself disappearing into the woods.
