I realize that this is nothing more than a joke of a thread, but:

While I do agree that there are some individuals who take this whole "Illuminati" thing too far, there is still some veracity to it. The main problem is that it is, for the most part, wrongfully represented as this group that somehow possesses a supernatural power of sorts, when in reality, the whole idea is that there are secret societies that are empowered by certain governments (many public figures have stated this over the years. Perhaps the most prominent of those is John F. Kennedy, the former president of the USA), and they simply pull the strings. Allegedly, their main purpose is to assume control over the world; that, they have achieved through the controlling of almost all popular forms of media—music; movies; video-games; even on the very dollar you own. Symbolism is evident.

That said, you are free to believe what you want.

Yes, I agree that there are a lot of people who have no clue what they're talking about in terms of secret societies like the illuminati... but I don't like the idea of the over-exaggerating memes that play down the fact that the rich actually DO control the world. It's almost like the idiotic memes are encouraging people to stick to the same old thought processes rather than attempting to think outside the box.
