I think the whole technique is a giveaway. The creation and utilization of flowers is a common thing among canon regular genjutsu.

To break it, I would resort to Kai since it does not paralyze you and damaging yourself on a genjutsu like this isn't worth it. But... this is dependent on the situation because people will likely use in coordination with another technique.

This is a 0, it's ass.

Does it actually damage? The description and damage are kinda confusing z.z

I start to create this technique by forming a single handseal and sending my chakra into yours in order to disrupt it. Under this illusion, you see a myriad of butterflies rushing towards you when in reality, I cover you with a group of explosive tags. Following this, while you're still under the illusion, you start to believe you're sinking into the ground and a final butterfly lands on your forehead. In reality, I throw a final tag onto your face while you stand immobilized, simultaneously detonating them.

A few ways to counter this, the handseal and the sudden formation of butterflies are one way to break it. Then the sinking into the ground is another.

To break it either kai, attacking the butterflies to interrupt the rest of the genjutsu (not sure it works), or as a last resort, using pain.

I rate this a 5 really because it's a decent technique, just easy to counter.

So how far into me sinking can I not use kai? And if I attack the butterflies will the rest of the genjutsu be interrupted?

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

For this first technique, I want you to string together the following sequence of handseals *displays* before utilizing your chakra to trigger an illusion which first gives the appearance of you suddenly disappearing into thin air. After that, you will force your target to see several bean vines growing from the earth beneath and around him, the organic tendrils quickly launching him into the air before wrapping around him, leaving them paralyzed in reality. Suddenly, a bean pod will emerge from the ground, which will open up to reveal you, leaving you ready to strike down your foe.

Key Points: None.

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

Now, I want you to trap your target in an illusion which causes him to see a large flower bud growing out of the floor, closing around him from all sides to trap him. Once he's captured, the flower bud will suddenly explode and your target will collapse, due to the intensive mental stress he's forced to undergo.

Key Points: None.

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

Finally, I want you to make a sequence of five handseals before trapping your opponent in an illusion in which he sees you dissolve into a mist. Meanwhile, you will stealthily approach the target and get within short-range and the opponent will believe themselves to be bound by a fast-growing tree. The opponent will then see you emerge from the tree, ready to attack or interrogate them.

Key Points: None.

In this genjutsu, I weave a sequence of the following handseals, Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram, setting off an illusion by disrupting your chakra. In this illusion, you see several vines erupt from the ground and bind you in place. After this, you see me erupt from a beanpod to deliver a stab to your chest with my kunai. However, in reality you are simply immobilized while I approach to stab you.

Nagashi would be perfect to destroy the vines and release you from the genjutsu.

A giveaway is the vines really, unless you have a wood release kg you can't just do that

To escape it, A-rank burst.

I rate this a 5 really cus it's easy to counter.

In this illusion, you are suddenly trapped in a large flowerbud. Once in the flowerbud, it explodes. This causes you to collapse, believing yourself to be damaged. In reality, you are simply exhausted and forced to collapse from the stress on the mind.

I think destroying the flowerbud is another good way to escape this. Ofc you'd have to do it with >B-rank burst.

A giveaway is yet again, another sudden formation of a plant.

To escape, you could harm yourself before the bud explodes.

I rate this a 2 because idk

In this illusion, after disrupting your chakra, you see me dissolve into a cloud of mist. Unordinarily, a quickly growing tree is formed beneath you, that rises up and binds you. Not to be outdone, I come out of the tree and attack you. In reality, you are immobilized by the technique and allow me to approach you for whatever needs.

Alright, a few giveaways. Unless there is a clone or two opponents, you simply can't become mist while causing a tree to rise out of the ground. That would be molding 2 different chakra stuff or w/e which wouldn't work. Also, this goes back to the wood release

Releases/breakage stays the same as previous ones

I rate it a 4 because it's easy to escape

( Nehan Shōja no Jutsu ) - Temple of Nirvana Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing all the targets in the area under an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. This slowly puts the opponents to sleep after one turn.

Now, I want you to each perform a single handseal before placing my clones under an illusion which causes them to see a rain of feathers suddenly falling from the sky above. This technique slowly causes a form of drowsiness to sent in, requiring a full turn to cause the opponent to fall asleep. If successful in use, by the end of the opponent's turn they'll fall asleep, virtually guaranteeing your victory.

Key Points: Useful if you have allies, since you can physically prevent your opponent from breaking the genjutsu by attacking them thoroughout their move.

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

Once again, I'd like you to perform a single handseal and cast my clones in an illusion where they believe they've been trapped in a world of complete darkness. The darkness is almost unreal, not even a shred of light remains. Quite easily realized, but gives the user some time to formulate combinations.

Now, fill out the template and perform the jutsus. If I'm satisfied with your replies, you've completed Genjutsu.

I form a single handseal and begin to put you under an illusion. In this illusion, you see feathers that begin to fall from the sky. This is a special genjutsu however as it forces you to counter, otherwise you will fall asleep in a turn.

A easy giveaway is the sudden formation of the feathers after the handseal. This is an easy way to deduce it's a genjutsu.

To break this, Kai is a perfect technique.

I rate this as a 7 as it's a genjutsu that forces you to counter, or you face falling asleep.

For the following illusion, I once again form a single handseal. This time however, it places you in an illusion where you are overcome by darkness. In this illusion, your sight is completely useless, however your other senses stay intact.

A giveaway is the sudden upcoming of darkness after the handseal. It would be difficult to simply block out the sun or taking away eyesight so a genjutsu is a safe assumption.

To break, I would likely use a 'burst' that could destroy incoming techniques because you are rather vulnerable without your eyesight.

7 as it's another genjutsu that needs to be broken.

How does the darkness approach?
