Ikkaku Madarame
"To announce your name and rank" is a custom taught to us when we learn how to fight. It's known as the last courtesy. If a person dies in combat, at least you get to know the name of the one that brought death to you. Ikkaku Madarame of the Kaguya Clan. As for the lowlifes who ignore this etiquette, I simply kill them, after they know who did them in.

Ikkaku is a tall and lean-built man sporting a bald head, and is in fact made fun of by a lot of people, Ikkaku's bald scalp is very reflective when seen under the sun, causing his friends to mistake it for a full moon sometimes. He also has distinctive small red markings at the outer corner of his eyes. Ikkaku has a scar running down the left side of his chest that he gained from his fight against the first person who defeated him. He wears black robes along with sandals, except that there is no tabi with his sandals. A month after he first got defeated, Ikkaku obtained a gold-colored shoulder armor with a Kanji for "dragon" (龍) on it.
Personality
In terms of his attitude, Ikkaku is a violent, fight-loving, and rude. This has been noted by many people. He loves fighting so much that he is unwilling to travel anywhere without a kunai. Ikkaku is very self-conscious about his baldness to the point, often insisting that he's not bald and his head is "shaven" while it is obvious that it isn't. He will threaten anyone that points this out.
Ikkaku considers fighting fun, and tries to get as much fun as he can, even willing to take deadly risks to drag out the fight for as long as possible. Ikkaku is even seen constantly smiling when engaging in a fight with a formidable opponent, which causes others to call him maniacal.
Ikkaku considers the only honorable battles to be those that are fought one-on-one. Even the threat of death is not a reason to ignore this fact, as they believe that the winner is only to be determined when the other dies.
However, Ikkaku does have a sense of loyalty and responsibility. He does consider surviving an otherwise lost battle good luck. He is also a highly-perceptive combatant despite his violent nature.

History:
Birth and Early Life
Ikkaku's birth was never really documented. Ikkaku was born in a time and age where war was waged incessantly across all shinobi villages. Ikkaku had not a single inkling of his identity, not one, except the fact that his name was Ikkaku Madarame Kaguya, and that he was from the Kaguya Clan. He also had a peculiar yet unique physical trait, that was his bald head. It was naturally bald, and not even the slightest bit of hair has ever grown on his head. Even amongst the barbaric clan members of the Kaguya Clan, Ikkaku was considered gifted in battle, even from a young age. Yet, the Kaguya Clan kept partaking in wars and waging wars on villages as a mere clan, using even small children like Ikkaku as their minions and soldiers, resulting in the clan's population diminishing as time wore on, with members dying in the war, including Ikkaku's parents. Small children like Ikkaku led a deprived life in the Kaguya Clan, being kept in a cage, only ever seeing daylight for battle. As a child, only Ikkaku's will to escape from this nightmare of a life under the Kaguya Clan kept him alive, and filled him with hope.
It was more than twenty years ago when Ikkaku's life began. He was born, without his birth being recorded, no date, no location. He was born, only to lose his parents days later. Ikkaku was raised by the rest of the clan members, treated harshly by them, as Ikkaku was used as a tool for battle. Somehow, Ikkaku managed to survive for many years, through wars and battles, suffering grievous wounds but never getting fatally wounded. Deep down inside Ikkaku, he knew that sooner or later, if he continued fighting and staying with the Kaguya Clan, all the members would be killed, including himself. As such, Ikkaku vowed to escape, but the only question was how, and when. The Kaguya Clan ventured from land to land, fighting whoever they came across. As such, by the age of eight, Ikkaku had been to most places in the Ninja World already.
The opportunity to escape from his clansmen came 2 years later. At the age of ten, the Kaguya Clan came up with a reckless and seemingly impossible plan. The Kaguya Clan was going to attack Kirigakure, the Village hidden in the Mist. Ikkaku knew from the moment the news reached him in that cage he lived in, that if the clan were to attack a whole village like Kirigakure, every single one of them would get slaughtered, including Ikkaku should he partake in the fight. Ikkaku had no choice, during the fight, he had to find a way to escape, lest get killed without a chance to defend himself. Ikkaku loved fighting no doubt, a trait of the Kaguya's, but fighting to die was a different story. Ikkaku wasn't stupid enough to throw his life away pointlessly. He was going to have fun for a lifetime, why end it now?
Some time later, the Kaguya Clan challenged Kirigakure, waging war upon the village. The Clan initially caused chaos within the village, having attacked in the dead of the night by surprise, though Kirigakure quickly regained composure, and it's elite ninja's soon overpowered the members of the clan, slowly but surely slaughtering the clansmen. Ikkaku took his chance when he was let out of his cage to fight in the battle. Amongst the chaos, Ikkaku attempted to break out of the battle, fighting his way past a battalion of Kiri/Kaguya ninja's. It was a matter of running away, and not killing others to break away from the ranks. Though the Kiri ninja's inflicted many wounds on Ikkaku whilst Ikkaku attempted to run, the bloodthirsty Kaguya's managed to keep the Kiri ninja's busy as well, long enough to let Ikkaku escape the battle and run away into the night like a fleeting shadow, escaping from the Kaguya Clan forever.
Ikkaku ran and ran, never stopping, for he knew that if he stopped, he would be too scared to carry on. For at the age of 10, Ikkaku had left his clan, with no more relation with anybody else in this world. His clan was going to be eradicated in the village. Ikkaku would be a complete stranger to this world, from this day onwards, and had no more kin or relation to rely on. The thought was unbearable, but Ikkaku knew that he was alone, forever alone from now on......Fear gripped at his heart as never before, anxiety and worry coursing through his very veins, adrenaline keeping Ikkaku going, yet his mind was convulsed, without a clue as to what he should do next.
His limbs were sore. His mind was tired. Yet his eyes were still wide open. Ikkaku had a glazed look about him, tears subconsciously rolling down his cheeks. His mind was tired, his limbs were yelling to stop, his entire body wanted to stop running, and collapse, yet Ikkaku kept running. He didn't want to look back. He didn't want to. He knew he wouldn't be able to face the reality, to accept it would mean to accept that he was alone in this world. He pleaded with the gods; Why couldn't he live like a normal person? Why did he have to be born into such a barbaric clan, why? Why did his life turn out like this? The answer seemed there, ready for Ikkaku to grasp, yet Ikkaku was reluctant. He continued running like a mindless fool, without thought as to where he was headed to, for hours, days, perhaps weeks. He did not know. Ikkaku kept running, never stopping, for he thought that if he slowed down, death or unbearable suffering would catch up to him, and if he kept running, he could escape, escape...but to where?
Thoughts raced through his minds, but at long last, after a long while, with Ikkaku miles and miles away from Kirigakure, he collapsed. Where? He did not know......
And so I escaped from my accursed life, but in which direction do I head to?
Darkness. Darkness. Was it a friend or enemy? All Ikkaku knew was that it was here to claim him, as he was running. Darkness was a world Ikkaku was accustomed to, but never had he felt so at ease inside it, darkness encompassing him seemed like a paradise, without worries nor fears. Was this how death felt like? Ikkaku never, never thought it would feel so good. In fact, it felt better than being alive. Then, Ikkaku remembered why he was here; He was running, running, and it seemed that his mind and willpower finally succumbed to his body. Yet, even in this darkness, fear still stabbed at his heart. Were you really going to die right here, Ikkaku Madarame? Were you really going to give up on life? Ikkaku's subconscious mind knew the answer; no. Ikkaku wanted to keep living, but what was the point?
With a jolt, Ikkaku was awake. His eyelids flickered as his blurry vision soon came into focus. He stifled a yawn as he looked around him. He seemed to be in a room of some sort, and he was lying on a bed. He noticed another thing, he was naked, but for the bandages wrapped around his wounds. Ikkaku, with great trepidation, realized that he was alive, he was alive, but his clansmen were most definitely not. He was truly alone now. Yet, if so, who saved him? Who found him and brought him here, nursed his wounds, and treated him? Ikkaku thought, with hope that Ikkaku knew, deep down in his heart, should not be existent, that his clansmen had found him and were all safe, and treated Ikkaku's wounds, and they all were willing to stop their violent nature after being severely destroyed by Kirigakure. Ikkaku knew this possibility was impossible, yet he still hoped. Ikkaku tried to get up, to move,-
"Sit down and rest, dear boy"
A soothing voice resounded through the room. Moments later, a women appeared carrying a tray laden with food. Behind an extremely masculine man walked, grinning at Ikkaku. It was then that the hope in Ikkaku's heart vanished, though he wasn't surprised. This couple had saved Ikkaku and treated his wounds. Questions raced through Ikkaku's mind as he blurted them out incoherently towards the couple.
"Why was I here? How did I get here? Where did you find me? Did you save me? Where was I right now? And, most importantly, have you heard, any, news about the Kaguya Clan who waged war on Kirigakure?"

The couple who treated Ikkaku were very kind. The women nursed Ikkaku back to full health, while the man was a strong ninja, and offered to teach Ikkaku fighting skills. Yet, Ikkaku's life seemed to have lost all hope. There was no longer any motivation to live. Maybe he should have just died with his clan. Despite the constant string of motivational words from his benefactors, Ikkaku still continued to be depressed, contemplating suicide multiple times, and staying locked up in a room for hours at a time. When was the last time Ikkaku smiled?
Should this incident never have happened, Ikkaku might have died from depression and completely gave up the will to live. At this point of time, Ikkaku was already seriously contemplating suicide. On this particular day, Ikkaku attempted doing so. Ikkaku wandered out of the house, towards the direction of Amegakure, hoping to get killed by a ninja on his way. As Ikkaku wandered close to the village, he could hear distinctly the deafening drumroll of raindrops thudding with a soothing rhythm on the ground. Ikkaku looked at the skies, perhaps the skies were crying for him. As Ikkaku wandered into Amegakure uninvited, several ninja's started to appear as Ikkaku walked on, completely oblivious, his mind wanting them to kill him quick, whilst his heart secretly hoped to survive. Tears dropped from his eyes as Ikkaku thought of his clansmen, and how they all died, how his 'family', all died by waging war on a village. Perhaps he should wage war on a village like Amegakure. The ninja's from Amegakure soon converged upon Ikkaku, questioning why he came into the village. Ikkaku responded by screaming, telling them to kill him. The ninja's were about to grant him his wish, when,-
"STAHP!"
The man who saved Ikkaku appeared between the few Amegakure ninja's. The man who saved Ikkaku previously had saved Ikkaku again. Ikkaku felt an inseparable mix of fury and relief/gratefulness towards the man at that time. How many times did he have to save Ikkaku? As the ninja's departed and left Ikkaku to the man, he brought Ikkaku back to the house, telling him to cherish his life.
"This life was bestowed upon you by your parents, by your ancestors, they may be dead now, but will you not repay them and live this life to the fullest possible? Would you rather die, and fail them?"
The shock of having just been saved, as well as the guilt Ikkaku felt at his actions, seemed to have awoken him. Tears leaked down his eyes once again, as the emotional turmoil overwhelmed him. What should I do? Ikkaku thought constantly. Ikkaku already knew the answer, Ikkaku was going to cherish this life that was given to him, and live it to the fullest. From then on, Ikkaku sank out of his torpor, with hope restored in his life, ready to start anew. From then on, Ikkaku started to once again live his life like a normal human, as he should have, deciding to learn some basic skills from the man who saved his life.
After a couple of years of endless training, in both Amegakure and the outskirts, Ikkaku bade his benefactors with unending gratitude for saving his life and giving goodbye, leaving on his own journey across the lands.
With that out of the way, where do I go? What do I seek, now?
Ikkaku travelled for many more years, fighting battles with opponents, each battle he enjoyed, each battle he took away something valuable from. Ikkaku soon progressed, from being a relatively weak ninja, to one reasonably strong. Also, he began to utilize his KG in battle, turning himself into a formidable foe. With each battle came more knowledge and enjoyment, and Ikkaku could simply not want more. During his journeys across the Ninja world, he came across helpful and kind souls who taught him elemental ninjutsu, adding to his arsenal of firepower, to whom he was eternally grateful for.
Of course, battles, training, they were not the only things you would come across during a journey. Friends. Ikkaku made great friends during his travels, great friends who would go through thick and thin with him, Ikkaku. In the early years of his travels, he met a guy called Kryptiic, who also goes by the alias of Neddy the shitty guy. The first of many, and perhaps one of his closest. At around the same time, Ikkaku came across a guy, Toshiro the Pissy, who thought himself to be a Turtle, though Ikkaku saw him for what he truly was. Yes, yes, ladies and gentleman. I'm sure you have not been expecting this, BUT, Toshiro is a g-g-Turtle. Soon after meeting Neddy the Shitty, Ikkaku also came across a peculiarly retarded, mentally insane, delusional guy, Scaze. Scaze seemed to live in an alternate universe to this world. In his world, he thought himself to be a boss. In the real world though, of course, Scaze is not a boss, and is in fact, Ikkaku's dog, an uncontrollable, insane, on steroids one, which Ikkaku has to fix a leash to to ensure he does not go raging 24/7. (Don't get mad Scazeyboi, I gave you a role in my bio.
Later on during his travels, he would also come across great people like Erzhoe and Dawana, who were a couple, inseparable not even by the most attractive of men. Did I forget to mention? Both Erzhoe and Dawana were female. Both of them showed great affection for each other as they met. You could call it "Love at First Sight". Both of them instantaneously fell in love, and has, since then, been inseparable.
Even later on in his travels, Ikkaku came across a guy called Vision, who thought he was all-seeing, but Ikkaku knew better, for he was all-knowing. Vision had no eyes, for he could not see the awesomeness in a bald head. He questioned the normality of Ikkaku's head, to whom Ikkaku responded by saying that bald head's were in fact, beautiful, gleaming in the sun's ultravioletharmfultoeyes rays.
Also, Ikkaku would come across people such as '(randomapostrophe)Kurapika, and Kamishiro, both of whom were also good friends with Ikkaku. (Pardon me if I forget to mention you lovely tards, but I'm afraid I can't remember many more people)

It was at a point in his life where Ikkaku, along with Kryptiic, decided to join the Village Hidden in the Rocks, Iwagakure. Both Ikkaku and Kryptiic headed to Iwagakure, with Scaze and other people going to other villages which I never really cared about to be perfectly honest so yeah. Ikkaku requested the Kage, Toku, who was at that time, serving his tenure as the Kage of Iwa, to accept him into the village. Toku complied, and Iwagakure was Ikkaku's new home. A beautiful one, if I might add. Inside the village was a hive of activity, the tavern being Ikkaku's favourite place to hang out with the wonderful people of Iwagakure. Inside Iwagakure, Ikkaku also met a whole new host of other people, such as Mathias, Oraan, Blizzard and stuff. For the next few years of his life, Ikkaku came to experience one of the most enjoyable periods that he has ever lived through.
Lol I got lazy bruh so I'm going to leave out everything that happens next until the next update u.u
