Ikkaku Madarame
"To announce your name and rank" is a custom taught to us when we learn how to fight. It's known as the last courtesy. If a person dies in combat, at least you get to know the name of the one that brought death to you. Ikkaku Madarame of the Kaguya Clan. As for the lowlifes who ignore this etiquette, I simply kill them, after they know who did them in.

Ikkaku is a tall and lean-built man sporting a bald head, and is in fact made fun of by a lot of people, Ikkaku's bald scalp is very reflective when seen under the sun, causing his friends to mistake it for a full moon sometimes. He also has distinctive small red markings at the outer corner of his eyes. Ikkaku has a scar running down the left side of his chest that he gained from his fight against the first person who defeated him. He wears black robes along with sandals, except that there is no tabi with his sandals. A month after he first got defeated, Ikkaku obtained a gold-colored shoulder armor with a Kanji for "dragon" (龍) on it.
Personality
In terms of his attitude, Ikkaku is a violent, fight-loving, and rude. This has been noted by many people. He loves fighting so much that he is unwilling to travel anywhere without a kunai. Ikkaku is very self-conscious about his baldness to the point, often insisting that he's not bald and his head is "shaven" while it is obvious that it isn't. He will threaten anyone that points this out.
Ikkaku considers fighting fun, and tries to get as much fun as he can, even willing to take deadly risks to drag out the fight for as long as possible. Ikkaku is even seen constantly smiling when engaging in a fight with a formidable opponent, which causes others to call him maniacal.
Ikkaku considers the only honorable battles to be those that are fought one-on-one. Even the threat of death is not a reason to ignore this fact, as they believe that the winner is only to be determined when the other dies.
However, Ikkaku does have a sense of loyalty and responsibility. He does consider surviving an otherwise lost battle good luck. He is also a highly-perceptive combatant despite his violent nature.

Water Affinity: A self-proclaimed master of the water element, Ikkaku has trained himself most arduously in the art of creating, and manipulating water. Of course, while he might not have ascended to the levels of the supreme greats, he can still rather proficiently use water techniques with the use of a single hand seal, and at great speeds too. It is his primary specialty.
Wind Affinity: A man like Ikkaku would never limit himself to a single element, or so he thought. He aspired to excel in more than one element, and like real men, he achieved his target. While his proficiency with the Wind element might not match up to that of the Water element, he still happens to possess considerable skill in it, and performs hand seals at much faster speeds than the average ninja.
Taijutsu Specialist: As a member of the Kaguya Clan, and a proud wielder of Shikotsumyaku, it is no wonder that Ikkaku specialized himself in close-combat. He has heightened reflexes, strength, and durability in comparison to a regular Strong Fist master. Coupled with his bones, which are supposedly harder than tempered steel, he has become a fearsome close-combat fighter.

History:
Greetings, fellas,
My name is Ikkaku Madarame, and this is my story.
I was born in a not too faraway land, presumably Kirigakure, as I would come to find out from my clan's origins. Exactly where, I did not know. When? I was not too sure myself. I was told nothing. My identity was kept a mystery. From my birth, I was told to fight, trained to fight, and do nothing but fight. I had no identity. Not a sense of self. At that point of time, my life seemed hollow - almost all too hollow. I had not an inkling of the purpose of my life.
My parents did not care for me. To tell the truth, I barely knew them. The memories were fuzzy. I doubt I would be able to make out their faces even now, if they were alive. I was treated as a savage beast. I did not know why, but I
was locked up in a cage, and only brought out to do my peepee, and fight in wars. Killing became second nature to me as I started to develop my close combat prowess and my Shikotsumyaku. My hands were forever stained with blood from the time I started to develop cognitive ability, and the ability to retain memories. Strangely, I enjoyed the thrill of fighting, though it always hit me hard when I dealt the finishing blow.
It was a pitiful life. A monotonous one. I had nothing to go by, but the name of Ikkaku Madarame. I seemed almost like any other ordinary Kaguya clan member, except that perhaps I possessed a greater level of fighting ability than most, and my bald head. My exceptionally bald head. From as early on as I could remember, my head had always been bald. From birth, it seemed, I was bald. It was peculiar. I often absentmindedly run my hands through my non-existent hair, wondering why I had no hair. Everybody else I saw had hair, and even those who had shaved their heads still had some hair, despite it being very short, after a while. Mine, however, did not grow. On one of those special occasions whereby I was allowed to shower in a lake, I caught my reflection in the glistening surface of the water.
Wow! I let out a gasp of surprised. I was bald, completely! Not a single strand of hair existed on my head. It was also strangely reflective. Shiny, some would say. I involuntarily grinned. It made me strange and abnormal, but this bald head was possibly the only thing that kept me unique, something which I held on dearly to as my only source of self-preservation.
As I approached the age of 10(or so I counted), I began to see for myself that there was no hope for the Kaguya clan. Sooner or later, we were going to be killed in battle. Entirely wiped out. Our numbers were already dwindling, as we continuously lost wars even I, could not make a difference in. Yet, the utter stupidity in which the clan leader prided himself on led him to plan an assault on Kirigakure. I wanted to facepalm myself, I really did. Though I wasn't exactly the most erudite man on the planet, I knew that we had no chance. When I heard the news, I clung hopelessly to the bars of my cage.
My life was going to end.
...
Here? In this pitiful state? Without any purpose in life, nor any outstanding achievements? Was I really going to allow that? I gritted my teeth, as I resolved myself. The answer was apparent already. It had always been on my mind, but I never had the guts to carry it out. During the war, I would run away. Yes, run. From my clan. I would desert them, and start living my life as a human. The challenges ahead seemed unappealing, but I had no choice. It was that, or die. I felt no regret, nor shame, in thinking that my clan were better of dead. They were a threat to the world. A barbarous group of imbeciles. I felt no love for them. Nothing, but apathy.
====================================================
The fateful day came. The day which would decide my life. Was I going to succeed? I felt the first signs of nervousness as the entrance to my cage was unlocked. With a clink of the lock, the door swung open. Before it stood the malicious Kaguya Clan leader and his subordinate. I knew not of their faces, nor did I care anymore. I did not even look up as I passed them, disregarding their snide remarks. "Remember to kill as many as you can. Your life is of lesser importance, Ikkaku. Huehuehue." I could still hear their mad cackling behind me as they proceeded to the next cage.
The smell of blood wafted towards my nose. It was a smell most familiar to me. I walked out, staring into the starry sky above. This was it. I ran bravely into the battlefield, roaring as I did so. I drew my bone swords, an action I was most familiar with. Almost mechanically, I struck down several enemies with clean strikes to their chests. Adrenaline coursed through my veins. It was thrilling, it was. However, I knew I had a purpose. And somehow, one way or another, I needed to break out of the encirclement, and escape, preferably inconspicuously.
I began striking down enemies, whilst avoiding some simultaneously. It was easy, it really was. With my proficiency with Shikotsumyaku and my natural battle prowess, I easily waltzed pass people as if they weren't there. I was carving a path to freedom. That thought alone sustained me. I suffered several wounds, but thanks to my body's durability, I was not phased. My hopes were raised as I got closer and closer to freedom. So much so that I decided to avoid enemies instead of fighting them. Run I did, and with an air of desperation, yet with some sort of alacrity behind my steps. It was slightly ungainly, but who cares?
I was nearly up and away when I heard a commanding voice utter something aggressively. Though my name was not mentioned, I knew he was yelling at me. You there! Where are you going? Kill the enemies! KILL THEM, YOU BRAT! I glanced back, trying to see the source of the noise. As I turned back, however, I soon regretted my choice. Blood. Blood everywhere. The surrounding vicinity seemed to be stained so viciously in crimson and burgundy, the ground seemed not to exist anymore. I saw my clan members, my brethren, being cut down one after another. Several clan members were still standing, glaring ferociously at me.
STOP HIM!They yelled. For a moment, my movements had halted. The Kirigakure ninja caught up with me in a matter of moments, joined by the Kaguya clan members who must have thought I betrayed them. Without a moment's time to react, I was sent flying backwards, several meters, pummeled by the force of a fist. My back slammed into a tree. Blood spurted out from my mouth. Argh! Damn it. Damn it! So close! Was my life going to end then? Was my attempt nothing but a failure?
I stood back up, rubbing my jaw with the back of my hand. Shit. I was in a real pinch. Yet, I felt surprisingly calm. Those bastards. I'm going to kill them! My mind was a whirl of thoughts, but all of a sudden, I was bereft of all those thoughts of freedom and whatnot. All that was left was a feeling of blind rage and fury. Towards my clansmen. Towards everybody. In my enraged form, the ninja of Kirigakure were no match for me. Easily, I slaughtered those who approached me, cutting down even my clansmen. **** all of them!
I made my retreat whilst killing those who continued to chase me. I was going to escape. Definitely! My life, my life definitely going to have some meaning!
I continued my run towards freedom for what seemed like days. My legs felt tired, and protested most ardently. I could not stop though. I did not know how long those people would chase me for, or if they would even do so. My eyes felt droopy. However, as I ran, with no predetermined location in sight, I could not help but appreciate the beauty of this world. Gone was the cold stone wall of my cage. The world was my oyster. Or so I thought at that moment. How cheesy it all was. The sunrise was beautiful. Yes, indeed...
Wait, why was it fading? Was the world going to end? Everything seemed to darken. Soon, I was engulfed in darkness.
====================================================
When I woke up, my mind was hazy. Certainly. My whole body ached. It seemed I had put myself through my paces. Where was I? Ah yes...I opened my eyes, expecting to see the cold stone wall of my cage once more. Argh...Opening my eyes, instead of my usual cage, I saw the faces of several happy looking boys. I had to blink several times to make sure I was not dreaming. With a struggle I sat up, trying to recall the events of the previous night.
So I managed to escape, huh? My body was filled with elation. It was ecstasy as I had never felt before. What a great feeling of happiness and warmth! I looked at the boys who supposedly saved me. They were around my age, or so they looked.
One of the more unfriendly-looking ones immediately introduced themselves. From what I could see through my fuzzy eyes, he had squinty-looking eyes, and overall, and unpleasant face. I somehow thought, or perhaps it was more of a premonition, that I would come to like this guy. He said, rather quickly, "Yo, the name's Scaze. I'm a fgt mostly, but I guess I can be rather nice if I wanted to. My dream's to become the biggest prick I can be. Nice to meet ya!"
Next, what seemed like the most dependable guy of the trio introduced himself. "I'm Erzo, and this is my fiancée, Dawan. We're very much deeply in love. We found you unconscious on the path and we brought you back. Give me a moment, I'll bring you some of Dawan's juice," He said. He seemed fairly pleasant, but his relationship with Dawan irked me quite a fair bit. "I'll pass on the juice. I'll have water, thanks," I replied, whilst rubbing my bald head.
The last of the trio seemed fairly retarded, in all honesty. He was drooling all over, and seemed incapable of doing any task by himself. His movements were fairly uncoordinated, and all he could do, it seemed, was stare at my bald head. "mambo AYEYA!" He muttered. I lol'd.
I felt strangely at ease with my new acquaintances. Well, until I found out the many strange quirks about them, that is. For one, Scaze was a little doggy who liked to go 'Woof! Woof!' at every single opportunity. As for Erzo and Dawan, let's leave them out of this, shall we?
Together, we spent several months together. At one point, we even decided to form a group comprised of several skilled individuals. Of course, it failed, and after a while, it kinda disappeared.
Of course, all good things come to an end. Eventually, we split up, with each of us traversing our own respective paths throughout the ninja world, to hopefully gain more knowledge and strength, and eventually settle into a village. I, myself, was eager to find out more, considering I've been locked in a cage for the first part of my life. That was all forgotten of course, and I was hoping to unravel a new chapter in my life.
====================================================
Throughout the next few years, I continued to traverse from village to village. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the various unique culture of different villages. Of course, experiencing the vastly differing weathers of different
villages was fun, as well. Villages like Amegakure certainly perked me with the constant rain. Soon, I came to hear about the news regarding my clan. Of course, they were utterly annihilated, and I, for one, felt no sympathy nor shock.
On my journeys, I met a guy called Kryptiic. I was most fond of this guy. He was nice, and treated me well. We became good friends, of course. We decided to travel together, and soon, we came to a village called Iwagakure. It was a rocky village, certainly. The terrain was unforgiving, but Kryptiic and I enjoyed the village very much. After some deliberation, we decided to settle down in the village. We approached the Tsuchikage, who, at that time, was Toku.
After some persuasion and showcasing of our talents, he eventually complied. We thus settled down into the village. From that day on, I often spent my time in the rock tavern, meeting a whole host of other new people. Dependable people such as Mathias, Blizzard, Jinbei, and Oraan were aplenty in Iwagakure.
It seemed, that then, I had finally found a place I could call 'home'.
====================================================
After a few months of enjoyment in Iwagakure, I, of course, got a lot stronger. However, for some reason, he felt as though he needed to leave the village, and join something new. As such, I took my leave, traversing once again throughout the ninja world. Soon, I came to a village called Kumogakure. It was high up in the mountains, so it felt strange, with the oxygen supply being depleted. I coped fairly well though, and I decided that I was going to try this village out.
I approached the Kage, who at that time, was Mugiwara. He kindly accepted my application rather swiftly, and I proceeded to settle myself into the village. Of course, it did not have the same feel as Iwagakure, but I enjoyed it initially. I came across a guy called Toshiro, who was, like Scaze, a fgt. We became friends though, and over time, grew close. I also came across other people, such as X-man.
For around a couple of months, the village felt good. I could barely appreciate the village, just barely, and enjoy myself. However, I knew, somewhere from around the middle of my heart, that it wasn't the same as Iwagakure. As such, I decided to take my leave once again.
====================================================
It took a while, but I journeyed back to Iwagakure. Due to some Kage-trouble, or so I would term it, it took quite a long time for me to join Iwagakure, in comparison to the previous time. I could not complain, of course. I lazed around for a while, whilst contemplating how the village would look like when I got back in. After several months of hanging around, Mathias, the new Kage, finally accepted me.
I was back. Back to Iwagakure. It was a nostalgic feeling, and I glimpsed around at the people, some of which I recognised, and some of which I didn't. The old members were still more or less there, but several others had joined in my absence. I was most pleasantly surprised to meet my old friends, Scaze(who remained a fgt), Erzo(who would become Kage), and Dawan(who remained as weird as ever), as well as several other people, such as Vexy_Wexy, who knew about just as much as to insult people as the insides of a women's body.
It felt great being back in the village, and inside the rock tavern. It felt great, going on missions, and fighting in wars(albeit not very frequently) with the people I knew. Somehow, I felt lazier than ever, but it was good all just the same.

Somehow, I felt lazier than ever, but it was good all just the same.
...
In all honesty, my life's been better than ever. I would have no qualms in proudly saying 'I'm satisfied with my life'. I have met wonderful people, so much so I dare not hope for more. While I may not be the most pleasant of people, I feel thankful that my life took a turn for the better, and I have had the chance to witness the pleasantries of life. Even if I had the chance to redo my life, I would probably not. Maybe. My Kaguya Clan history may forever remain a part of me, and no doubt has it made a significant impact on my life, but, I sometimes wonder, without it, would I have come this far?

Will of Rock: Ikkaku has a really strong willpower and carries the will of rock inside from his very proud village of Iwagakure. Having such strong will means that in a fight, small injuries are not enough to stop Ikkaku. His will to live for the village is a very great deal, it has helped him many times in fights. Ikkaku is also fearless in battle.
Weapons: Ikkaku's choice of weapon is a simple katana that is strapped to his right hip.
