[Discussion] Ignore or Reply?

When it comes to your favorite movie, TV-Series, music, manga, anime. Someone hates your favorite, and they talk bad about it. No need to tell me. I know. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

What I'm asking is:
Would you ignore or reply in an attempt to defense your favorite?
Do you feel tired of haters and just let them be or flame them back?

In my case, I just simply ignore, what I like is my individual choice, if someone thinks what I prefer is shit, then I honestly couldn't care less, since it's his opinion, even arguing with him isn't gonna get me anywhere.

you shouldn't be so emotionally invested in a bunch of fictional characters that you feel offended when someone insults them and have to reply

if you do feel the need to "defend" a drawing or fictional character . . . then you need to get a life

I would try to defend them by replying but when I find that it is useless to argue with him/her then I'll Ignore

What would you gain by defending it? They won't change opinions just because you reply,your just feeding the troll at that point and that's what they want. Its a waste of time imo. But if you've already made your mind up to reply at least make it an articulate thought out response unlike most that I see around the base.

I mainly ignore them , I know most of them are only hating on set topic just because they want to(with no logical reason) so there's no reason to fall for their games & keep replying to them .
