After a long deciphering of what Tsukuyomi is, I realized that the skill is limited and will not last an eternity A Obito seems to believe, I say this because of two things.

1. Tsukuyomi is a sharingan ability and also requires a massive chakra. Even if the jinchuuriki ten tails could reflect Tsukuyomi over the world, it would be limited due to the fact the moon will eventually break its own relect due to the sun rising. no matter how much time perception is altered the ability is still limited.

2. If obito wanted to control the world, he would be wasting his time because he obviously does not see the outcome of his own plan, Two sharingan users still remain, Kakashi does not count as his own eye belongs to Obito originally. And since Sasuke is the only one capable of breaking Tsukuyomi, and his current standings, Show maybe he will ultimately have to eliminate both Madara and Obito Alone, unless Obito becomes the Jinchuuriki and face full tail naruto..

The sasuke thing was going through my head all weak bro...i think sasuke will be the one to break infinite tsukyiomy, cuz i think that madara will win against alliance. But nice theory mate.

Well, the infinite tsukuyomi is a dumb plan indeed and it will never work but so are those two reasons you give.

Brilliant! the sun would rise and the moon would go. Unless Madara makes 1000 years in limited tsukiyomi equivalent to only 1 second in real world or something. So the whole world would mentally die in one second.

I mean, Itachi could control space and time in his Tsukuyomi dimension, one second in the real world was 3 days in his realm. (Kakashi vs Itachi fight). So it would be all about perception I think. Even then, it would be done after becoming the jinchuriki for the Juubi, which has been shown/described to have virtually infinite chakra.

Firstly, Obito is illegible of casting the genjutsu itself, and will ultimately require Madara's assistance [ ]. The genjutsu will be continually reflected, meaning that as the Moon orbits the earth the reflection will continue and regardless of day light. Once caught in the Genjutsu, Mugen Tsukuyomi , the targets will be in a similar state as Kabuto [ ] Meaning that continual eye contact isn't necessarily a requirement for the Genjutsu 'Tusukyomi' to work but only a single glance. Dynamically, Mugen Tsukuyomi solely requires an infinite chakra source to infinitely keep the Genjutsu on course. As for Sasuke, I can theoretically agree on the part of breaking the genjutsu, however, it is absurd to think he would stand any chance on his own against the Juubi's Jinchuriki, Edo-Madara or Obito.

Well true but you gotta look at the logics. Chakra is limited, even in a powerful creature such as the juubi and the moon has to go down at one point, even if he were able to perform that move, it would still be limited and he would only mentally distort them .

The moon breaks for two reasons, its lunar cycle and its fall, It cannot reflectan image if it has moved from the position it was once at

Well think about it, You can reflect an image if it leaves you line of sight, He woul have to constantly be where the moon is at, which defeats the purpose. It would be impossible for that reason in itself.

Not infinite?

The Juubi is the progenitor of all chakra. It's mere shell, void of the bijuu was not only able to physical techniques but even to the extents of striking out limitations (chakra, duration, manipulation of physical entities like space and time) on . It was also the source of chakra sustaining Madara in his old age. The NarutoVerse, a fictional universe does not solely run off of real life Astronomy. I have already explained that the Genjutsu does not require continual eye contact with the source of the Genjutsu itself.

The ability is limited, indeed, BUT the moon's effect can NOT be negated due to the fact that the sun is a way further than the moon is, so it's NOT really capable of standing in its way(in moon's way).

Obito haven't ever thought or fancied himself manipulating the world, that's supposed to Madara's role from the very beginning.
Sasuke is cool enough to be immune to Tsukuyomi as he broke it when fought Itachi, so there's no question about it.hmm
Obito can not be Jinchūriki, technically he IS able to do it though, Madara won't accept it.....=D
Even if Madara were to decide on becoming Jinchūriki, the only role Obito would support is to sacrifice self so that to perform Outer Path:Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique a.k.a. Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu reviving Madara's body and making it possible for him to get Jinchūriki then:cool:

My guess is that Kishi never bothered to develop the exact physics of Infinite Tsukuyomi because he never intended to actually show it, which would explain why he did Road to Ninja to give us an idea of what it would be like if it actually succeeded.
