Nobody in that village could've helped him become as strong as he did when training with Orochimaru.

It was pretty much essential for Sasuke to leave if he wanted to have any shot at beating Itachi.

well if you think about it, wasnt that (naruto becoming stronger) what pushed Sasuke to leave? kinda made him make up his mind

i think we can say THAT was the ultimate one for sasuke, next to getting revenge, but yea. point is i would of stayed, then things would of been a whole lot better in the village, but then again we wouldnt have had all this much fun watching the series right

Let's just put it this way. I was wanting to shove a brick up his **** section when he left the village. There was still so much he could have learned there and the people were practically willing to die for him, but no. He had to go take candy from strangers who wanted his body.

well i'd have at least learned from some one whom i don't have to kill later
sasuke learned jutsu from orochimaru and then killed him when he was weak

that was really pathetic how could he killed his own master
