Helll yes i would take it are kidding?!! Wih immortality everything I do in my life and everything I am will have true meaning. I mean what's the point in doing anything when knowing everything you do has no true meaning since you will be dead for eternity eventually! Everything you are eventually disappears which makes life with an end quite pointless.

Wouldn't you begin to get bored? And, you won't ever get the chance to get away from your problems. Also, you'd have to keep it secret (which is hard) or the FBI and other services would run continuous tests on you. And, they could torture you, for a LONG time without restraint if they believe you're hiding another secret.

This is truly a polarizing topic. On one hand, I'd be able to gather knowledge unparalleled to anyone else for 100's of years of studying and observing natural phenomena. I'd be able to witness whenever we first colonize the solar system, whenever we finally are able to utilize FTL travel and everything I'm interested in related to science. But it's truly polarizing. How many times can you see your loved ones die? How can you look yourself in the face and realize you outlived not only your parents and siblings, but everyone else, including your wife, children and everyone who ever cared about you?

no then i have to work for eternity, and you cant fall in love, and stay in one place for very long. Also You would have to fake Id docs, which would prob be realy hard to do in the future.

Well boredom doesn't last forever Bordem is a way that your brain finds diffrent ways to grow and expand (not physically of course) in fact Bordem is actually a good thing when you take that into account. Piont is Bordem isn't something that would plague you forever even if you where immortal becuase it doesn't last forever. Now about problems depressing on I'll find a way to deal wit them or get away form them I mean hey id have all the time in the world and more to do it. And I'm not sure the FBI would do that to someone of they where immortal but if they did I'll be fine id out live them and get away eventually. I don't think immortality is for everyone I'm sure some people couldn't handle it seeing there loved ones die over and over but I could. You can coupe with anything including that(one of the things your brain just does naturally is find ways to cope or deal with things with things so finding a way to do so is inevitable) so id be fine. After all it would be the only thing that makes living have true meaning since your very Eccense never expires/disappears eternally.

Yeah wether someone would want this type of thing is all about perception. But in all honestly being immortal wouldn't be as bad as some may think. Using facts a lot of thier conplaining at or worry a about being immortal aren't really as bad as they think or in some cases they aren't even bad. For examplei mentioned that Bordem is actually good for the brain it helps it grow and change. When someone gets bored of something what happens? they do something else and depending on what they do it gives them an opportunity to learn new things get smarter and it also helps them to be more creative. So really Boredom is actually a good thing.

It's not a gift to see your loved ones perish before your own eyes .

I like that avy and sig.

OT: If I were to never age as well, then maybe. If I could give it to another person and keep my own as well, then yes.

Immortality?

**** yeah I would. The longer I live, the more knowledge I'd gain. The more knowledge, the more power I'd gain.

If you were to take the deal, it would cause some serious grief in your life overall. A lot of people are posting that they'd hate to see all their loved ones die, but it would be highly illogical for you to stay with anyone for much longer than 6-8 years because they'd become aware you're not normal. At a certain point you'd have to cut ties with your family or they'd realize you're not aging. I mean if they really love you, I guess they'd accept you, but you can't be a normal husband or wife, father or mother, or son or daughter because of what you've become.

Most likely you'd live out your family and after that point work your way from place to place, lover to lover, without letting anyone see who you are or get to know you for too long. Now if you're prone to falling in love, it would become a continuing problem because, as I said, you'd eventually seem inhuman to your spouse as you would seem abnormal by not aging.

Either way, it would be a difficult life to live. So if you are one who seeks love and lifelong companionship, you'd likely not want it. If you're someone who's non committed and would prefer short relationships and one night stands, that would likely be a better choice for you.

Credits goes to a Gfxer

P.S. Pursuing immortality depends on your purpose in life but will you be able to co-exist along others for eternity .

I feel like at some point I would get tired of this world. So I'll just live the one I have and whatever happens after it and so on.

Yes. I will. With immortality like you described I will be able to experience the ongoing evolution for ages and try new things. Of course I shouldn't age as well. Just 24 and that's that.
