If you were in Sasuke's situation after Itachi's death what would you do?

Actually I´d do just what Sasuke did. That´s a kind of confusing situation, and of course most people´d crave answers and more information if one would be put in Sasuke's shoes there.

Given all he has had to put up with, its nice to see that he is protecting something. Not trying to destroy something like Tobi had originally planned.

Do what Sasuke did. Except I'd show up alone at the battlefield and appear to be on Madara and Obito's side but stab their backs with a chidori after Naruto gives a whole talk no jutsu and then tell him it was my plan from the start. Then Sasuke might even attempt to control the Juubi. We know he can enter its conciousness like he did with Kurama at the start of the Shippuden series.
