Or do you think That Sasuke was a traitor and naruto should have abandoned Sasuke? Like Sai said at the start of the series. I like Sasuke and all but if I was in Naruto's position I would have stopped going after him as he clearly doesn't care about the leaf anymore.

If i wa Naruto i would of left him, or rather try to kill him, but that's what makes Naruto's character special. He never backs out of his word, so if he stoped caring for Sasuke that would mean he went against what he had said before. He just endured and kept his faith that Sasuke would come back. I think he is a pansy for caring so much for a traitor, but that's him.
