I finished watching the entire movie. It seemed like the normal cliché story with the disposable villain that is philosophical and overpowered that ends up being a complete failure, overused plot devices, and with some illogical moments.
I especially hate how Storm was nerfed in the movie. This woman is supposed to be an Omega mutant like Jene, and she's turned into weak fodder? I hate Bryan Singer for the way he's portraying my favorite X-Men character. I believe it was once stated somewhere that Rouge-Storm (Evil Storm that rekt Dr. Doom) was if not, on par with the Dark Phoenix for crying out loud. And all we got to see is Magneto tearing stuff up???
I wanted to see less of him and more of this:
But nope. We didn't get to see Storm go ham. And Apocalypse did not give Storm her white hair nor did he enhance her powers. That was plain bull if you asked me. But anyway, let's get back on topic.
Who would you choose as your Horsemen if you were Apocalypse?
For me, it would be:
1.) Jean Grey, who has the power of Psionic Manipulation & Phoenix Force. Psionic Manipulation allows her to use and manipulate all mental and psionic powers in existence.
2.) Storm, who has the power to manipulate all forms of weather and nature. She can even manipulate the molecules in the air, which allows her to kill her enemies through the use of several feats such as, making acid rain and deleting any use of oxygen around those who she intends to subdue.
3.) Nightcrawler, who can teleport and has beast-like features.
4.) Quicksilver, whose speed can top Mach 5.
With these four, I cannot lose, especially if I persuade them enough to trust me. I wouldn't destroy the world, but I would stop all countries from destroying and dehumanizing each other, including mutants.
