If you Strike The 8 Chakra Points for the 8 Gates Does That Stop It?

Neji vs Lee always ends in the controversy of Lee's power with the 8 gates but what if Neji blocks those chakra points?

The whole point of the opening any of the Eight Gates is to blow open the restrictions the body puts on one's chakra. So no, all the chakra flow would simply burst past the block. At least, that's what I can think of given the extent of my knowledge.

If its blocked neji wins ... Neji can do both increase or decrease flow of chakra from the points ...
