I really can't go into details and you won't be able to find out all of the truth by simply looking on my infraction messages etc., but it is true I've been unfairly treated at times before.
I can't really say it was specifically because I was being nice, well, I tried once in order to set a truce of kinds, but I guess that only added fuel to the flames somehow..
The reason was probably as simple as the mod/-s in question just not liking how I was, sure, sometimes I went too far and deserved infractions, but at other times it was just ridiculous, yet I received help from other mods and things have calmed down now to a certain point, but I'm the mod/-s in question would have no problem being rude again, it's some absurd deep seated grudge of sorts, really weird..
On topic: It's as Kawagiri and some others say, you can't really get banned in a justified way for simply giving an admin neg rep, provided you have a reasonable reason to do so, like the admin being rude or were breaking a rule, dunno if that'd ever happen tho'. An extract from the FAQ explanation of reputation says:
"Reputation is a way of rating users depending on the quality of their posts."
And from what I've read and understood; if you dislike or disagree with a post because of its nature, or mayhap the actuality of the contents going against what rules has been set, you may use the neg rep.
Since it's basically a rating system, you rate the members, even the mods and admins.
But beware, there is such a thing as breaking the rules by neg reping(even giving pos rep) members just for the fun of it or because you simply dislike the guy/gal, etc.

For just neg reps? No. For abusing the reputation system while being on an alt account because one or more of your other accounts already got permanently banned, while you troll the forums again on that alt account and then give a staff member neg reps just because you can? Logically yes.
I already said it before if I see people of which I know infractions aren't going to do a thing, I'm going to ban them straight away. Infractions act like warnings to say that you need to stop the way you're acting, but when I know someone isn't going to stop either way, why would I waste my time with infracting?
Abusing the reputation system is against the rules. Asking for +reps is wrong, so logically giving out neg reps just because you can without a real reason is too. Neg reps is meant for people who troll and flame, not to start giving it out to people who just don't have the same opinion as you (in the case it's a rational opinion).
I received several complaints and reports about the account that I banned (Ascended), or with other words another alt like the one you used to make this thread with. In fact I received one just half an hour before the -reps because he was spamming a GFX thread and then such a person gives me -reps because I replied to a person who was flaming the staff severely and who got banned for it? That means he was supporting a flamer and a troll and abuses the reputation system for it.
I didn't even need a reason to ban that account considering it was an alt of someone who was already perm banned and was using that account to continue breaking the rules. That he abused the reputation system was just another reason on top of that along side everything else he did wrong.
