Ok, I don't say it's impossible for him to be 1rst Hokage, but Obito has many hints, and is yet unpredictable...
A) Obito spells tobi backwards... it could be a Hint.
B) Kakashi's and Tobi's sharingan are on the exact opposite eye, and share the space-time ninjutsu specialty
C) Tobi greatly hinted that in one of the latest chapters, when he told Kakashi "Good Eye, Hatake Kakashi."
D) Obito is one of the few Uchiha shown, who never had a big background story... It could mean that Kishi-sensei planed to develop his character latter...
E) I can think of many more reasons... But one more thing is I would personally prefer him to be tobi rather than Izuna, which would be a totally predictable plot...

* Also the hair is exactly the same... I know hairstyle changes over years, I just say it could be one more hint...

Also, the name is only a hint, but Obito has much more hints than only his name...

Tobi can be a number of people. I don't think he's any of the hokages though. All of their souls are sealed away. I do think it's someone of significance though. I don't think Kishi would hide his face for so long if it wasn't.
