You might want to check out Electric Wizard, they're pretty dope. Check their album "Dopethrone" out. They're a little heavier than most of what you listed, but not too much.

Also, the Punk band NOFX is pretty dope. Check out "Seperation of Church and Skate" by them.

it's Valentine not VALENTIME and metalcore is a sub genre of metal so why hate me i think your exaggerating your feeling:shrug:

I'm actually kinda surprised that you don't have Rage Against the Machine on there after lookin' at all those bands. They really have a great and unique sound, even among other nu-metal bands.

Only one I really highly recommend you get into is Deftones. Right now, they're my all time fav and I'm disappointed I didn't find 'em sooner. I can't stress enough how brilliant they are as a band. It really all depends on how heavy you like your metal, cause these guys are always either very soft or very loud, depending on the song. I'm more into their heavier sound, but that's just me. One suggestion I have is to stick to their first three albums, cause that's really where they shine at.

Dragonforce really? Not a metal band, they have about 9 guitarist and 13,000 synths. Slipknot sucks, Dream Theatre and Lacuna Coil are all right but not metal. I listen to more experimental stuff: IWABO, Texas in July, (a little) BMTH, ISMFOF, ect and some satanic metal ie: Gorgoroth, Burzum, Mayhem, Darkthrone and some others

Dance Gavin Dance are one of the best bands ever. I could fan girl about them all day.
