If you had to guess, what element do you think Minato had?

I think it is implied that elemental affinity is genetic (since specific clans are said to generally be proficient in certain elements, e.g. Uchiha with fire) so its probably wind.

Most Jonin's have 2+ elements, so I would assume he had more than one. But what do you think suits him best?

Honestly a lightning style user...his key technique was the Flying Thunder God so a lightning element would complement the namesake of his key technique (and yes I am aware FTG isn't lightning release.....I'm just trying to say lightning compliments it lol).

Also his nickname, "The Yellow Flash," also supports a lightning elemental theme.

Yeah, Naruto managed to create all the variants as well. He's probably the best with the rasengan.

Yellow flash was just because of the FTG. Nothing to do with lightning. Although I see what you mean when you say it supports it. Speed and that

Minato means Harbour, Namikazee means wind and waves so I think it's logical to assume he has wind+water.
