If you had to choose between hunter x hunter or one piece being completed with the other one never going farther than the chapter its on now, which one would you choose?

One Piece easily. OP has so much more going for it than HxH, not to say HxH is bad but I have more investment into OP than HxH. It's my fav. series of all time.

One Piece, even though I love HxH slightly more this is so because One Piece is poised for a legendary ending and in case of HxH if Togashi is made to work against his wishes it will be meh so either he continues it himself or ends it.
