The village didn't cause Itachi to do what he did, nor did they cause the Uchiha to go nearly extinct. That was the efforts of Hiruzen/Danzo/Elders.

If Sasuke were to specifically go after Danzo, Elder 1 and Elder 2, his justification would be much more believable.

Sasuke going "Everyone is happy because Itachi made it happen so I must make them sad for them to understand" just makes me think he's throwing a giant temper tantrum.

You're acting like anyone who says Sasuke isn't the greatest developed character and agree with you doesn't understand his character. You claim Sasuke's irrationality and impulsiveness is what makes him a good character, well others don't it doesn't mean they don't understand it, it means they don't enjoy it. I honestly can't think of a better character. After this last chapter especially, it easily puts Sasuke on top of all Uchihas. Sasukes depth is way better than any of them. Naruto is the only one comparable but his story revolves around to much about Sasuke. Sasuke is really the only interesting char to me.

The current sasuke is the most interesting hes ever been as we dont really know what hes gonna do or what he really wants. However him throughout the series before the war was pretty unoriginal and 1 dimensional. Luckily kishi got him out of that strange role he had.

What else do you wanna mention his father's preference to Itachi over him? You two keep saying people don't understand but don't wanna explain what it is you claim they don't understand. Because Sasuke went from wanting to kill his brother for his clan to wanting to destroy the organization of ninja for what they made his brother do, is that the reason for your guys big hard on for him?
