I'd totally bring something with fire because I hate being cold. Also soft so I can get warm by snuggling with it. Also large enough to ride on. I would want to bring an Arcanine.

Cof a grigus would be useful as shelter and most Normal-type wildlife can't even touch it.

Snover would be good for food, because they grow berries on their bodies. They'd keep me cool in the tropical regions during the day. He would also be great defense against dragons.

If I could only choose one though, it would be Arcanine. I love staying warm over everything else. One with Hidden Power Ice so I can still have some of the benefits of Snover.

Other than him, probably Garchomp AND Blaziken. Garchomp is my favourite non-legendary in the entire series and Blaziken would be all like "What you sayin about my trainer?... BLAZE KICK!"
