The movie indistry has taken a turn for the worse, not a tumble belly grumble... but seing the films turn down the hill as at least more expensive these days, kinda makes you wonder what's going on in the money with our pockets?
What do you think?
Well, they've gotten pretty thin in the line of creativity, which is why we're getting so many reboots as of late. On the money issue though, the money that comes out of our pockets is the money we use to pay for tickets. Public outrage would go out the door if the Government was found giving tax dollars to the film industry, which goes directly against the current Presidents standpoint on the economy.
Of course, movies have set budgets before they begin making them, and the money they get is earned. It's why you only see the big production companies nowadays. Paramount, Fox, Lucasarts, etc.
Movies have an extremely large revenue stream as of late, thanks to how commercialized the industry has gotten. Now, movie theaters are usually packed. Theaters are expanding.
They've just been getting more money.
Quality, overall, has declined, but there have been some very good movies recently.
