i think i'd choose to be shikamaru.

very genius yet could handle things easily despte being lazy.
being the only who graduated as chunnin despite having the exam itself interferred.
being trusted as leader of the team in missions quite often
has been proven to be very useful tactician in war
end up with kinda hot wife and got 1 child who's genius like me
has important position in konoha (hokage assistant)

i'd say he's had great life. could still move forward despite losing 2 dearest men to him (teacher and father).
