Far from it, I always thought kishi overemphasized sasuke in the series. I am just a fan of itachi's and since he is dead and left sasuke his eyes, you find him interesting.

Sasuke seems more powerful because he is less talk and more action and all talent, and maintains a cool and calm attitude throughout the fight. They are diametrically opposite in their powers since they last clashed and yes, sasuke might just impress us with his new abilities.

I know a lot of people are really going on about naruto's new powerup, and I do admit it is impressive, but Sasuke being kishi's fav character will eclipse everyone on the battlefield, because he is just better! I am not really a sasuke fan by no means, only of itachi's, but since sasuke has itachi's eyes, all other jutsus are useless.
