[Discussion] If vegeta and goku stayed to the hyperbolic time chamber

The whole time is on them gohan wont be going,trunks, piccolo they wont go! Just goku and vegeta Do you think they could surpass cell in his full form after they went out in there?

Goku already explained that over training was counter productive,hence why he and Gohan didn't even spend a year in the chamber. Vegeta didn't believe him, went back into the chamber and came back barely stronger than he was before if at all.

So to answer the question, Goku and vegeta would not have been stronger. Especially vegeta, at least Goku was very close to cell in power so he could have maybe equaled cell if he stayed longer but he would not be on Gohan's level.

Imho if Vegeta and trunks stayed in there they could have achieved SSJ 2. I mean he'll even trunks was close to SSJ 2 if he kept training Vegeta also. And let's face it SSJ super Vegeta/Trunks was ugly as shit.

Yes they could achieve it. Its not really how long you train but "how" you train towards a specific "goal".

Goku achieved Vegetas power through pure meditation within days while Vegeta trained overly hard.

A saiyan has to tap into their next potential in their own way mentally as well as physically.

Fuse both Goku's and Vegeta's trainings with perfect balance and they would have SSj2 definately.

They went as far as they could with their respective trainings
