why do they always fail?

1) Indra failed to become the leader of Ninshu
2) Madara failed to gain support as Hokage, failed against Hashirama.
Phase II :- After 100+ years of failing , activates IT only to fail again.
3) Itachi :- Failed with Sasuke.Also said, " In the end I only failed ."
4) Obito :- Could not create his dream world. Failed got Tnjed
5) Sasuke :- failed to become Hokage and lost to Naruto.

Its not like they don't have their moments though. Their powers are the most haxx, Susanoo, Izanagi , Izanami, awakening Rinnegan by some. They achieve their short term goals but fail to realise their ultimate goals. Its like winning a battle but loosing the war.

So for the people with the eyes of the destiny, are they the ones who are destined to fail?

For Madara and Obito their idea of living in a dream world, is so unrealistic it was bound to fail even if others didn't intervene... once everyone in the dream world lost all chakra they'd die and the plan is a fail on its own.

Indra probably didn't want to be successor after losing to Ashura, because he created ninjutsu (the sags said ninjutsu was created to start war, I think) to fight him after Black zetsu tempted his broken heart, meaning his ideals and goal probably changed, he didn't fail at creating wars, but not sure if this was his goal.

They have amazing eyes that alter what happens, like if they are supposed to die, but I don't think it could work on things like this

They have the eyes that control destiny. Cheating death, warping reality, stretching time, making people puppets, accessing all dimensions, teleporting, having clones in different dimensions, tailor made eyes to control tails beasts are only a few feats. With so much of Godly power, they still fail. Plot is a piss poor excuse as to why they are not successful.
Not even one, one guy who achieves his long term goal. There has to be a deeper reason though. I think they all wanted to fail. They say they won't fail, but they always fail because from the inside they want to fail.

The rinnegan is just as much the uchiha as it is the senju so that shouldn't be a Uchiha feat. Also their eyes only re-write their own fate/death/damage, not effecting others. So Indra becoming ninshu successor wouldn't be possible with izangi alone, that is effecting/changing the fate of others (hago, ashura, and the other people); same can be said for the other examples.

Only Indra transmigrants can awaken Rinnegan (Let me finish before you throw a hissy fit) because they are the only ones that would actually be good with it, and willing to take the chakra of an Ashura transmigrant. Also, Indra transmigrants specialize in utilizing their eyes, not the Senju/ Uzumaki ( Ashura transmigrants)
