To answer your question, Ikemoto think original Naruto never exist.

We see in DB after one powerful villain came and lost, new more powerful villain came in but in Naruto the trend go downward and not upward.

They are not powerful and when Madara was in his reign this Bad Guys just a nobody. But Ikemoto tries to separate one reality with other reality, the reality that he now creates. Naruto and Sasuke going by logic, they are the strongest living being that exist in the planet currently and only someone with other fruit power can have a chance to pull out whatever bad guy plan. If Sasuke going all out, one slash of his PS can wipe out Kara.
