It has potential.... The sage is around... The tailed beast are around... the climax could be that the Sage dies and the two brothers start clashing. It could go far considering it would still involve the Sharigan, Rinnegan, and Senju abilities.. Plus the two brothers are probably stronger than Hashirama and Madara.

No, he wouldn't. He was the first to invent ninjutsu. It would be very interesting to see him gradually improving as he discovers more and more about chakra.


I'd like to see a Minato prequel to see exactly why Minato was praised so much other than effortlessly dodging Ay's attacks.

As much as I'd like too see more of Minato in his own story, I think we've already seen enough of his past from Kushina's flashbacks. It would merely be a repeat of that except with Kakashi Gaiden and a few smaller side-stories thrown in.

I'd prefer to see a prequel about the Sage from the very beginning, leading up to the story of his sons and how they lived. It would almost be the same as the main series, with the duo paralleling Naruto and Sasuke.

It would be great to have a prequel with hashi and madara but I'd be more excited if the rikudo got his own little spinoff.

For a prequel to Naruto to be interesting it has to be set in a totally different world. We know too much about the others and it's only set a few decades before the show as it is now.
