What if the uchihas did attack and itachi dident massacare them? Do you think the uchihas would have won? Would they take control and still be incontrol now?

no they would have lost, unless maybe itachi fought alongside them they may have had a slight chance, but still unlikely. even if they had won the village would be so weak after that it would just get wiped out by an outsider. this site should be renamed uchihabase since on the forums 9/10 threads are titled uchiha something, or obito, sasuke, tobi, madara, shisui something. the uchihas were arrogant and evil and got wiped out because of it, a fate which they well deserved. get over it.

uchiha isn't the only elite clan of konoha, there is still hyuuga, nara, akimichi etc.
plus anbu and root have many skilled shinobi as well and on top of it they aren't afraid to die which makes it a lot harder to fight them.

but still as tento said there are a lot of key factors, itachi and shisui have a big role in there

uchihas arent the only elite clan in existence. yeah they were tough but not every uchiha had sasuke/itachi/madara like strength. case in point, the fact that just itachi and tobi alone were able to kill all the rest of them with itachi barely looking like he broke a sweat after.

According to how much the elders & itachi feared this I believe they stood a good chance especially cause they planned it unlike the kyuga clan did

Genjutsu takes out most non hyuuga katon spread & burn shit down like hospitals supply & weapon storage also causing a massive distraction

Worst case for the uchiha they lose sum escape sum get locked up the village is destroyed & open for invasion

They would have Lost, It would be Leaf clans, Leafs Anbu, and the 3rd hokage who is a God of a shinobi, jiraiya and the Army of the Leaf Vs one Clan. Maybe Even Tsunade would of Returned after hearing a War had Broken out.
Maybe Other Groups in the Fire country would have assisted the Leaf.

Even if the Uchiha clan Pulled of a win I Doubt Many uchiha would have Lived and would be Wiped out or scattered to the winds (like the uzumaki) After another country invaded.
